I love and miss the IFTOS passionate vocals!

Since you dont see me whoring ANATO it means I'm not a big fan of it :p
I too love the IFTOS vocals ! My favorite Hansi vocals :p

I like ANATO, well what I've heard of it.

Shattered_Future 02-26-2006 10:19 AM

Self proclaimed ANATO whore here, if you couldn't tell from what I've said and my location.

Stoic, if it's not too much trouble, would you mind uploading the single for the rest of us? :D

Lord Abortion 02-26-2006 03:33 PM

And your point is?

Steerpike 02-26-2006 03:37 PM

I enjoy Edguy and often whore them to everyone I know. But there needs to be more to a thread than a picture and tour dates.

Lord Abortion 02-26-2006 03:52 PM

I saw them at the Newcastle show with Dragonforce.
They were awesome.

Trev 02-26-2006 03:53 PM

Yeah I saw them at Manchester and they were absolutely brilliant.

ashman 02-26-2006 05:55 PM

Awesome band, great for all occasions.

I don't really like Rocket Ride, I'll give it another try though :p

When i saw that post i was about to say "i would love to see Edguy live", then i rememberd...i did!

Shattered_Future 02-26-2006 07:56 PM

I WOULD love to see Edguy live. Stupid never coming to the US.

That BG single left something to be desired. Was kinda lame...

What's up with Helloween's new album? It's not bad, but it's not them either...

dUSK 02-27-2006 05:10 AM
Did anyone check out the Dungeon acoustic set clips?

They're up there. ^^
I gave them a listen (after I finally figured out where I saved them on my laptop). Sounded pretty interesting really, but you can't really get the full idea of it all from a couple of short clips. Should be good on the final DVD though.

JausmetalJ 02-27-2006 05:17 AM

Yeah true, should definantly be sweet on the DVD.

Cant wait for it.

Also gotta get the othe DVD, NOW!!!

Lord Abortion 02-27-2006 10:11 AM

I love the second half of rocket ride, from Catch of the century onwards, but the first songs aren't as good.

Hells Bells 02-27-2006 11:45 PM

I just found the video for Unholy Warcry on Rhapsody's website.
http://www.mightyrhapsody.com/index.php
If anyone wants to see it, you have to go to the discography, and it's at the bottom of the page for the Dark Secret EP.

The band's performance, especially Fabio Lione's performance, was phenomenal. They look like they'd be freaking awesome live...I want them to come here again :(

They'll just still be short clips underneath other footage, though - this DVD is gonna be packed SOLID so finding room is gonna be tough for anything more than snippets.

Mr_Bounce 02-28-2006 06:15 AM

i'm liking Edguy more and more since i first heard them. surely they must kick *** live.

Apocalyptic Raids 02-28-2006 06:30 AM

I've never heard any Edguy >_>

MetalOz 02-28-2006 06:37 AM

Anyone here listen to Dark Moor? Only power metal band I know of from Spain. I just heard their cover of 'Halloween' from Helloween's Keeper I. I couldn't believe that a power metal classic like that could be covered so brilliantly. I won't say that it's better than the original but they have a much more polished sound.
I really like the vocalist and I heard that their later work has someone different, in fact I think it's an entirely different lineup other than the guitarist. Can anyone make comparisons? Should I run out and buy their latest or go for something with Elisa Martin on it?

Stoic 02-28-2006 01:05 PM

Not familiar with Dark Moor :(

Yo kiddies, you didnt post your opinion on the new BG single...

Stormrider 02-28-2006 01:08 PM

I didn't listen to it... I'll go and listen to it now.

Dark Moor are ok. From what I have, I'm not too fond of the female vocalist that much.

EDIT: So...I just listened to them, There definitely diferent then what were used to from BG. Especial Fly. There good...not amazing.

I like them though.

MetalOz 02-28-2006 01:36 PM

I like the Savage Circus album better than the new BG but it just sounds like old BG

Stoic 02-28-2006 02:22 PM

concerning Savage Circus:

Shattered_Future 02-28-2006 02:33 PM

My opinion is up there somewhere, Stoic...basically, it leaves something to be desired.

Nepenthe 02-28-2006 04:24 PM
Are you a fan of ANATO ?

My favorite to date is IFTOS.
ANATO just barely beats NIME as my favorite BG album. Nothing BG has ever done beats 'Battlefield' for me. Two years after getting that CD and the "Don't you hear me crying" part still gives me goosebumps.

Stormrider 02-28-2006 05:51 PM

Thats one of the songs of ANATO that I havnt heard yet..I think. Unless I don't remember it. Either way you've made me curious, I'l check it out.

Riva 02-28-2006 05:53 PM

Somewhere Far Beyond gets me with Time What Is Time. No matter how many times I hear that song, I always get a giddy feeling.

GenuineImitation 02-28-2006 05:54 PM

Whats a good Running Wild cd to get besideds Black Hand Inn?

Riva 02-28-2006 05:56 PM

The Brotherhood, for Pirate Song, or Port Royal, for Conquistadores. Love 'em.
