My grandparents had my dad when they were 19 and 20, so they're only in their late 60s, which is kinda cool I guess.

(*The Noonward Race*) 03-05-2011 02:27 PM

adbforever 03-05-2011 02:29 PM

Yeah, I don't plan on having kids for 10+ years but it's a possibility, they're awesome grandparents so it's just nice that they're younger and will be around a little longer unlike my other grandparents who were in their 80s when I wasn't even a teenager.
holy shit
yeah my oldest sister is 42 haha

adbforever 03-05-2011 02:33 PM

my whole point is, yes, kids are worthless

but

when you have them this early, theyre even more worthless

very seldomly do people plan to have kids in their early/mid 20's

those people are mormons - the same people who marry at age 18 - they marry the first person they lie eyes on and kiss - since finding another mormon is rare

witchxrapist 03-05-2011 02:35 PM

you're worthless, kid

I have 2 great uncles and a great aunt on my moms side who are still alive and in their 90s, they all live at home and are pretty function-able too, I wanna be like that someday.

witchxrapist 03-05-2011 02:45 PM

NEEDTOPOST 03-05-2011 02:47 PM

scotch-tasting before work today

wooooo

Angmar 03-05-2011 02:49 PM

My grandpa promised me he'd buy me a really expensive bottle of single malt Scotch for my 21st birthday, pretty excited about that since I would never ever buy one on my own because I'm far too poor.

NEEDTOPOST 03-05-2011 02:49 PM

i don't recall ever having scotch before so it will be interesting

witchxrapist 03-05-2011 02:50 PM

my grandfathers were both dead before my brother who's 2 years older than me was born

Angmar 03-05-2011 02:51 PM

Blended Scotch unless it's really expensive isn't very good from what I've had, it's not smooth at all. That's why I tend to stick with stuff like Jamesons and Bushmills, Irish whiskey usually goes down a lot easier.

Expensive single malt Scotch is pretty much god tier though.

SlightlyEpic 03-05-2011 02:53 PM

grandfather killed himself 28 years before i was born

pretty fucked

NEEDTOPOST 03-05-2011 02:54 PM

i think most of them are single malts
