Germany. Speyer specifically. My sister is on a Fulbright there and my family is going to visit. 2 years ago she was living in Xalapa, Mexico playing in an orchestra which was quite an awesome vacation. It's a special international study program that is really competitive. You get sent to another country for a year to study and do whatever you said you were going to do. SHe got in last year to Germany for her cello playing but didn't take it because she had a really good job so she got in again, this time for English as a second language.

Ok, you win. South Padre Island is only like 30 miles from where I live anyways, so it's not really that big of a deal. I go there often throughout the year.

She really is which isn;t so bad in itself except that she's also super motivated which makes me look bad. On the bright side she's 8 years older than me so it's not like I'm getting shown up by my twin or anything. Also on the bright side, she went to music school so it's not like her brains are doing a whole lot She's an amazing cellist though. Eh, you win some you lose some.

There's a pep rally after spring break, and the school actually asked my band to play. Why they would want a death metal band to play a pep rally, I do not know. But we'll play "Dechristianize" by Vital Remains just to scare the crap out of the emo kids there.
