Hey Jom, want to help me with my math? <_<
If it's beyond Calc II, you're SOL.
Anything else I should be A-OK with.

But, of course, you're probably at Multi-Dimensional Analysis V and I wouldn't remember how to do that crap or want to figure out how to do that crap, so... yeah.

PS: I'm not an engineer so circuitry and ohms and all that other shit is lost on me (I knew how to do it in high school), sorry :(

bottlerocket 09-18-2006 04:46 PM

I'm only in multivariable calc. I just started. :(

Check again ;)

BridgeToSolace 09-18-2006 06:12 PM

So apparently I got a 31 on my last math test and I need a tutor.

That's so wrong.

Jom 09-18-2006 06:22 PM

Ouch :-\

Was it Scantron? I loathed Scantron math exams.
Something always went wrong with them.

What math are you in?

Ross 09-18-2006 06:25 PM
Check again ;)
Omgz, 81 rep!

<3 you <3

BridgeToSolace 09-18-2006 06:27 PM

Nah, it wasn't multiple choice. I wish it was, though! It was one of those devil tests that required you to show your work.

I do remember a time during a test when I didn't know the answer to a question so I skipped it, I just forgot to skip a space on the scantron!!! Eeeck! Good thing I finished early and noticed the mistake so I had a chance just to ask for another scantron to copy over the right answers.

I'm in precalculus, but the test was actually Algebra II review (last year). I had a horrible teacher last year (she was fired/quit mid-year and was replaced by someone who obviously wasn't competent enough to be hired by a school in the first place) so I'm really behind. I also have a habit of not doing math homework.

I think it's odd that I get more homework in my two standard classes than I do in any of my honors classes. Rawr.

I've asked a lot of people who were in my class last year what they got on the test. I don't recall any of them giving a number above 75.

Ross 09-18-2006 06:33 PM

Just got back from running down the shop to get some milk. The girl laughed at me for having my flies undone. :upset:

BridgeToSolace 09-18-2006 06:34 PM

You have more than one fly :amaze: ?

Ross 09-18-2006 06:46 PM

yes, I have several.

Hmm, where I am we always say flies rather than fly, even though it makes no sense now I think about it. We're wierd in yorkshire though :)

Hahaha, yeah it's mostly MV calc/linear algebra/diff eq stuff. Like solving the wave equation. UGH! :(

I'm going to do bad this sem.

BridgeToSolace 09-18-2006 07:23 PM

Oh man, the shame of getting a B, huh?

NP: Old School Across Five Aprils.

My friend told me to get into Dredg. Any help, progressive head Vince?

Permanent Solution 09-18-2006 07:24 PM

Actually I think I have a few A's and a few C's...which is bad news since I need a min 3.5.

BridgeToSolace 09-18-2006 07:26 PM

I have no idea what my GPA is for anything at any time.

/my future tutorers

I would totally pay Vince to be my math tutor.

"Find the oppothite rethiprical!"

Permanent Solution 09-18-2006 07:29 PM

Well if I have a few C's I can tell you it's not a 3.5

Jon's a fag. I wouldn't tutor him to save my life.

but i might do it for lots of money

BridgeToSolace 09-18-2006 07:30 PM

Bitch, you would jump at the chance to tutor me for money.

If my parents went out you'd probably just play on the siq drum set in my basement.

Eliminator 09-18-2006 07:31 PM

Guys stop swearing it's hurting my juvenile ears.

Probably, I'm broke.

Mebbe. It's worse than mine though so I might be too classy for it :p

Fuck you Nick.

BridgeToSolace 09-18-2006 07:35 PM

Especially since my drummers are too lazy to change the chipped cymbols.

Permanent Solution 09-18-2006 07:37 PM

chipped cymbals?

oh dear god :-\

My cymbals are probably worth over 1000 by themselves.

BridgeToSolace 09-18-2006 07:42 PM

Hahahaha.

It was probably from the set being in a shed for a half a year, combined with the fact that my drummers both drum very hard.

Permanent Solution 09-18-2006 07:46 PM
Hahahaha.

I drum so insanely hard. But breaking cymbals isn't a factor of how hard you hit, it's a matter of technique. Good drummers can wail on a cymbal and never damage it.

Hence why I'll invest a lot of money in cymbals.
