this was a few pages back but whatever

plants make their proteins through photosynthesis. since plant proteins are less complex than animal proteins, they have fewer amino acids. when you eat plants, your body cuts the protein chains into individual amino acids, then forms it's own proteins. your body needs every amino acid to form all the proteins you need to survive, so if you only eat plants, you become protein deficient, and unhealthy unless you take protein supplements.
