My guitar sounded awful in b, strings were all flobbidy and whatnot.

I play really thick strings so it wasn't too bad for me.

A# is just awful

srv used .13s in standard tuning. pretty ridiculous.

I played bass more than I played guitar, so heavy strings are no big deal for me. I played like 130s on my 5 string back in the day.
