Defiantly get an apple notebook.

Apples [B]operating system[/B] (mac Os X or whatev) is only good at handling specific jobs. If you wanna have an all around computer that plays games, browse the internet, do schoolwork, do basic music recording, then getting a windows machine is the best option

If you plan to use your computer souly as a recording unit, or a film and video editing unit, buy a mac. It's as simple as that.

I know by experience, macs are only good for specific jobs. Anything else, go for windows.

And don't come back with "ohhh, but macs have cool cases, and have better hardware" because thats not a juxstoposition between the 2 companys. You're describing apples computer making, being put against windows operating system being put on another machine. Completely different thing.

Is it worth paying £1000 for something you can do nearly everything on, or paying £2000 for something you can only do one or 2 things on....

I finally went and got my criminal record check back today. It's clean. Yay me.

And I went to the movie store to see if I could change the PIN number for my family's account, as none of us know what it is, and the last 10 times I've gone there I've had to convince them that I'm actually a member of the family. The cashier was new there, so she didn't know how to do it, so she called the manager over, and he didn't believe me at all. I had my license and my birth certificate (to get my criminal records check) which he thought was odd, and I don't think he bought my story. But finally he gave in and let me change it. Life will be so much easier from now on.

I fill out everything, and after I hit submit, it loads a page that says "Blah blah can't be submitted. Error code 15005."
