I need to go read but the damn cat is in the chair.

Sunshine 08-07-2006 11:08 PM

Apparently my cat crapped on the floor every day I wasn't here.

Ill Mitch 08-07-2006 11:10 PM

Anyone have any experience with Finale 2006? I need to know how to condense the music to fit more on per page.

[AKA --- I'm back.]

I wish I was still there though, going reminded me of just how much I dislike the States, especially the ones on the west coast.

Oh well, at least I got to go. Now I have to get all sortza well rested for my driver's license test tomorrow, and then school starts Wednesday, and I just found out I'm getting my senior pictures done on Thursday...damn.

So. How's the past 2 weeks been?
Oh, good luck. You might freak out a bit, but don't worry, just remember the stuff and you'l be fine.

Leprechauns1021 08-07-2006 11:32 PM

I will be 16 in 2 months, and I have yet to take the test to get my permit. Geez im far behind. Its mostly my moms fault though, she just refuses to sign things.

Hah, thanks. I'm not worried about the test at ALL, as long as I remember to drive on the right side of the road I'll be fine. There are some wonderfully bad drivers who've gotten their licenses...people in AZ just don't care.

Ah, ok. I bet it's pretty easy there, I mean, I doubt most of the driving in the state is very difficult.

You have to be 16 to take the test, though.

I went the day after my birthday, skimmed through the manual, and passed.

Leprechauns1021 08-08-2006 12:10 AM

Nope, in texas you have to be 15 to take the written test and get your permit, then after that you can take the driving test whenever. Then you have to wait 6 months to get your drivers liscense, unless youre not 16 in the 6 months, in which case you have to wait till you are 16.

TTTSNB 08-08-2006 12:13 AM
You have to be 16 to take the test, though.

Janeway 08-08-2006 12:16 AM

Wtf? Here they want to raise it to 17.
Not like I care, though. I hate driving.

Edit: It took me three minutes to type all of this. =/
The road is pretty easy, but parking lots and parking garages are terrible. They should have tests just for those.

TTTSNB, do you like crab?

17? Thats dumb. I love driving, haha, I like the feeling of being in control of something I guess. Parking lots/ garages suck everywhere, some can be really, really tight. Oh, and I love crab. I live in the essential US crab capital. Ordering all you can eat crab is excellent.

Janeway 08-08-2006 12:27 AM

Haha. I've wanted to ask that question for a really long time.
I'm pleased to see you aren't changing the stereotype.

My parents made me park in a parking garage once, and I almost got t-boned twice because idiots can't read the huge "DO NOT ENTER" signs posted everywhere. And nobody can ever grasp the concept of going up instead of driving around the first level 300 times.

Heh, well I don't think its a bad one, so I don't really mind. Yeah, people generally suck at driving everywhere, just learn to expect it and not be bothered too much by them. I had to park in the TIGHTEST space today , I parked pretty much in the middle of it, and I still barely had any room to get out.

Janeway 08-08-2006 12:39 AM

You should have opened your door with all of your might and put a huge dent in the car next to you.

LittlePound 08-08-2006 12:40 AM

i almost died last saturday in a car.....end of interesting story.

Leprechauns1021 08-08-2006 12:50 AM

Meh, Ive heard better stories

Janeway 08-08-2006 12:57 AM

I got Chock Full O' Nuts coffee. It tastes pretty much like crap.
I'm going to keep buying it, though. I hate being a sucker for marketing.

Tang. 08-08-2006 12:59 AM

Yes. I'd buy it as well..

1) To fight the man

and

2) For its name.

Leprechauns1021 08-08-2006 01:01 AM

Never heard of it....

Janeway 08-08-2006 01:05 AM

Fighting the man by buying a coffee produced by Sara Lee.

But yes, it's name is very good.

I guess it tastes okay now. Atleast it's better than Folgers.

But then again, freeze dried shit flakes are better than Folgers.

fishbulb 08-08-2006 01:51 AM

Guess what i did today?

I went to a pawn shop to sell some useless **** i had around the house. So me and 3 of my friends plopped a huge pile of stuff including a TV down on the table. The guy said that all of it was too old and we felt like complete idiots taking all of it back out.

Then we attached the tv to some rope and attached the rope to a tailhitch. We found an empty road and pushed the TV out while going 30 MPH. There were sparks everywhere and it split in half. It was crazy.

Drum Phil 08-08-2006 08:29 AM

I may well be going to a thomas lang clinic

Sunshine 08-08-2006 09:20 AM

Aww. Crap. I have to take my test in a few hours and I don't even know which buttons the defoggers are =/

Ethan. 08-08-2006 09:59 AM

I like that name better Pespi.

Leprechauns1021 08-08-2006 10:21 AM

Damn, I have tennis lessons in like 40 minutes.....

Wouldnt be that bad if the prices werent jacked up during the summer, because no one else goes.

Ethan. 08-08-2006 10:22 AM

I used to love playing tennis... then I quit when I broke my arm and never played again.

Leprechauns1021 08-08-2006 10:26 AM

Well I play for the school, so I have to take the lessons so i can be better than the other people that have been playing so long. Unless I want to get stuck playing doubles with crappy people. I basically have 2 choices this year. Play doubles on varsity team, or singles on junior varsity.Im most likely playing singles.

Ethan. 08-08-2006 10:28 AM

what grade are you in?

Leprechauns1021 08-08-2006 10:32 AM

I will be in 10th grade this year.Only 6 days till school starts
