Same on the msn front; i've logged on about 3 times in the past ... 3 years, all of those were withing the past month or two. Next to no-one uses it anymore.

Reason i asked was cause me and paul used to talk all the time, every day, all the time we were both on the net, then he just stopped coming online and he disappeared.

Speaking of strings - elixir strings.

I thought they were hype and nothing else, but after having a set for a few days I have noticed they don't seem to tarnish as fast as other strings I've used. The sound is different but thats because I mistakenly went for 80/20 strings instead of phosphor bronze I think.

Either way, I like the change and if they really do last that much longer I may have to switch permanently.

Saturday afternoon. I played a gig last night with it, had to re-work the set quite a bit but it went quite well. The doc said 6 weeks then take the splint off and I'm tempted to heed his advice because last time I buggered one of my fingers on my left hand I took it off after about a month and started playing on it and it f[SIZE="2"]u[/SIZE]cking killed, and this is a worse injury. But we'll see, if it heals well enough I'll book an earlier appointment.

Spent today creating a desert habitat in my vivarium, out of the wood that was in the back garden.

In other news, I'm turning into a huge hippie. I'm taking used coffee grounds from starbucks, recycling anything and everything (it's pretty satisfying going a whole week without filling a medium size rubbish bin of non recyclables) and I'm using the fish-water from water changes on the garden...

i havent been into a starbucks in years, i think its ridiculous to spend $4 on a cup of coffee.

then again i dont really like coffee, but i wouldn't spend $4 on a cup of any drink other than a pint of beer at a pub
