OK, word. I wasn't trying to act all elitist or anything. This pretty much started when I said something about Slayer, someone replied about how Slayer are "generic" and I just pointed out how, when the first five records were issued, they were not generic, they were far from that... they were ORIGINAL. Truthfully, Slayer isn't even close to being one of my favorite bands, but I've had a lot of good times listening to their records and I respect them for the boundaries that they pushed with their recordings all the way up to '90, and for the influence they had on younger people to start playing harder and faster. As far as age, I'm not even old. I'm 22! But a lot happens to your mind between the ages of 16/17 and 21/22 and you start to hear and see things differently... albums that were really mystical to me at that age don't seem so unreal anymore. I guess it's like when you're a bit younger, things seem so much bigger than they really are. But with age, you come to realize that it's still just people playing music, and sometimes, it doesn't matter how simple or technical something is, each style is just as valid and the only things that really matter are how it makes you feel and where it takes your mind
So, to anyone who thinks that I was attacking their taste, that was not my intention, and I (sorta) apologize. In the future, if you're going to call someone an idiot then be prepared to explain why you think so... because if you can't, you'll end up looking like the idiot.

I like to make unusually long posts with as little paragraphing as possible so that when people look at it, they don't want to read it. Instead, they dismiss me for being illiterate and find me impossible to take seriously because I don't know how to paragraph. When I think "Hey, I'll press enter for this next sentence", I try to block that thought oubecause paragraphs will only make me look intelligent, and we know we don't want that. On the topic of not paragraphing anything, I decided not to make separate paragraphs for this unusually long post because I forgot that my keyboard had enter while I was typing it. Paragraphs are for losers who don't know anything about metal, anyway. I mean, seriously, those losers with their paragraphs and reasonably short posts think they know everything about metal, but here I am not paragraphing being the most elite metaller in this thread. I definitely know that paragraphing is for the non-elite because I don't use paragraphs and am obviously elite. I really wish I could force myself into awkward punctuation and capitalization for such a long post, but I find it impossible.

you didn't know that? Rapture was basically the line-up for Testament 2001, minus Chuck, but add keyboards. Eric's vocals are effin' sweet!
