Kezia is the better written album. It is, after all, a concept album. I couldn't tell with my first listen or two through Fortress if it was (its not, though there is a theme to it). The sound of Fortress is definitely better, but Kezia is more well written. IMO.

Nah, they've got a rehearsal space in TO. Pre-production is/was [being] done in Hamilton and I think recording is gonna be split between Metal Works (mostly for drums, I think) and one other place.

They're about ready for pre-production, not necessarily a full-fledged trip to the studio.

I'm not actually sure btw I was just kinda making it up. I know August was the goal for studio but I haven't heard anything recently and really don't have the need to pry. Even if they haven't done pre-production yet it's not like it'll take them weeks, it adds another week or two at most, and with how their last two albums have been massively delayed I wouldn't put it past a later-than-sooner release.

The stuff with Cam? That was pre-preproduction. That was basically them writing stuff and recording demos.

Do people actually buy tab books? When you have them online for Guitar Pro/Powertabs? I'm not hating on them or anything, just seems like a waste of money on their side(or not if people buy them).

Sometimes I do. Sometimes its because the tabs aren't actually available or they aren't very good.
In this case its because Protest the Hero are one of my favourite bands and I really enjoy playing their songs. I'd much rather have it on paper too than on a laptop screen.

i bought the fortress tab book and i cant wait to get the Kezia tab book tired of trying to play tabs that are wrong your better if trying to learn it by ear but with protest good luck
