Lucky. It's near impossible to find Something Wild or Hatebreeder where I live.

That is weird because I got my Bodom like 4 years ago, and they had a ****load of their albums.

Buy cd's from the net.

Shadows 09-11-2005 10:18 AM

Something Wild is my favorite along side Follow the Reaper. It was the first CoB album I ever heard and it holds a special place in my heart. I only own an original copy because I bought it online. No place around me carries CoB albums.

Wo@lcan 09-11-2005 10:43 AM

Can someone tell me the song title of demonstration #2 on Alexi's Passage to the reaper dvd?

I'm ****ing sick of searching for it.

Shadows 09-11-2005 10:46 AM

I don't think the name was ever released. I've heard it's a Sinergy song but it could very well be just some metal song they thought up or covered the the demonstration. If you can't find the name anywhere than chances are you never will.

If you listen to the beginning of the dvd, when the purple picture of Alexi shows up. That song is played in the background. The quality and the sound of it makes me believe it's a song featured on one of their albums...

but it's bloody hard to find that song :(

The song during the intro is a Children of Bodom song. I think it might be Touch Like Angel of Death, but I'm not sure. The song played in Demonstration 2 is a completely different song.

No it's the exact same song.

You don't hear that much of it during the intro, but it's some digital drums and stuff. And then Alexi introduces himself.

but demonstration#2 is the exact same drums and stuff with the two of them soloing over it.

Mr rattleheads bodom 09-11-2005 11:27 AM

children of bodom is the **** they rok my favorite song of them would have to be kissing the shadows

Mr rattleheads bodom 09-11-2005 11:40 AM
johnny cash writes music

alexi laiho taps away as fast as he can and everyone is impressed.

it's the age old melody vs technicality thing.

and melody wins IMO

EDIT: you're an idiot
alexi doesnt even tap much and I like to u play 1 of his solos

Woah, you're right it is the same song. The intro sounded like old CoB, but now I'm not sure.

It's a cool and catchy song :)

Shadows 09-11-2005 11:53 AM

I agree. It makes me wish I knew what song it was. :( I have a hunch though, I'll investigate.

MegaMustaine 09-11-2005 11:59 AM

Any advice on a good CoB song to learn on guitar? I don't want an uber hard one, but just some sweet licks. I want to learn trashed, lost, and strungout, but I also want to learn something else.

Angels don't kill? Just a suggestion. Love the harmonies' "feeling" :)

What album is that on? I have Hatebreeder and Follow the Reaper.

Shadows 09-11-2005 12:12 PM

Angles Don't Kill is on Hatecrew Deathroll.

I suggest Bed of Razors (Hatebreeder). Probably their easiest song ever, but it still sounds amazing.

Nah, I would say that Knuckleduster is easier than that. Or Sixpounder.

Huber 09-11-2005 12:38 PM

I got the Trashed, Lost & Strungout EP yesterday. The covers are sweet.

You're joking right? The leads and solos in those songs are ten times faster than anything played in BoR. Even the guitar solo is slow as hell.

I don't count solos when defining how hard a song is because I improvise almost everything. I just listen to it an play something I feel like or something similiar.

He looks nothing like her at all.
