Angry Balled Fists! 10-21-2005 03:24 PM

Obviously.

I'm trying to buy all the abums i have downloaded.

Pazz 10-21-2005 03:34 PM

Once I have a job I will probably buy lots of CDs.

Angry Balled Fists! 10-21-2005 03:38 PM

I should be getting a job on Monday hopefully.

I'm going to buy loads of CD's.

Is it just me or is Story of a lonely guy one of blinks best songs ?

It's my favourite by them! I also love Please Take Me Home. Those are my 2 all-time Blink favourites.

Angry Balled Fists! 10-21-2005 03:41 PM

Yeah, i love the begining, reminds me of American Pie 2...

I also love Reckless Abandon...

Pazz 10-21-2005 03:50 PM

Yea, Reckless Abandon is also pretty cool.

Fun Fact: If you listen to Reckless Abandon is only one speaker(I think left), you can hear Mark and Tom talking.

Angry Balled Fists! 10-21-2005 03:50 PM

Hahah, aweomse, i'll try it out...

Yea, I have too. Brandon was the one who told me about it. I should try and find out what they are saying.

Currently downloading the CD you advised.
Yeah, Gyroscope were awesome both times, Brand New was cool but Sparta made me leave the pit and get a drink.
notice how the soft drink was watered down a shit load
Yeah, ive always prefered real CD's as opposed to something like an MP3 player or a burnt disc. I like the authenticity of the actual CD.
Same. My parents are always like well, you know we could always download music for you at our work or something like that...but I like the authenticity of a CD also. It just seems better than the same thing downloaded.

It was the first song I ever learnt to play on guitar.

I fingerpicked everything back then.

It was the first song my band at the time learned..and then I realized I couldn't play the drum part :(

Pazz 10-21-2005 07:33 PM

I would love to sing that song. I love the lyrics in that song so much. I have never looked at teh tabs for the drumming, I probably have and don' remember. But, if you can't play it Stew, I doubt I can.

why-was-i-banned 10-21-2005 09:28 PM

Hey 10571, have you done your bands demo yet?

SunnyDayRealEstateAM 10-21-2005 09:48 PM

I saw the music video for First Date today, reminds me of good times.

DJ Ducksauce 10-21-2005 10:36 PM

Pretty much all of the pre-S/T videos are funny. The only exceptions I can think of are Adam's Song and STFTK. I have a live vid of reckless abandon. It's pretty neat. Travis does this big solo while on a rotating platform. It's cool. He's playing upside down and stuff.

B 10-21-2005 11:20 PM

STFTK was the very first song I ever learned on guitar. Even before the Smoke On The Water riff, which is almost everyone's first riff.

SunnyDayRealEstateAM 10-21-2005 11:26 PM

Ahhh this abreviation thing isn't working for me.... what is STFTK?

DJ Ducksauce 10-21-2005 11:27 PM

My first riff was All the Small Things. I remember learning STFTK. It took me a while to get it down. Same with WMAA and The Rock Show. I was a guitar n00b back then.

EDIT: STFTK=Stay Together for the Kids

yeh he might be a loser but like what usher said... "theres nothing better then opening up a brand new cd and looking at the cover and just having the real thing" it true but i still wonder if that feeling is worth $25 (aus).
Hey 10571, have you done your bands demo yet?
Na not yet we are gunna do it next week hopefully cause the recording studio just rang us so yeh.

The first song I learnt on bass was Rock Show, I thought I was so good, but then I realised I was only playing half-speed:upset:

In the Rock Show, during the interlude, I love the bass line with the fills. I think it fits the song oh so well.
