now it seems,
this is how the story ends:
She's gonna turn me down and say,

I can't get enough of their incredible voices, i grew up with em too so much love yeah, bought a chiristman carol cd featuring those three recently too. gonna be a silky festive season for sure

Nice. My dad is a massive Sinatra/Crosby/Sammy jr./Martin fan so it was cool listening to them everyday during my childhood. I guess that's how my love for music started. Also listening to Miles Davis and Coltrane. Such a shame my mom listens to shitty music :( haha

And this is probably the second best Sinatra album I've heard. His finest moment was Live at the Sands with Count Basie Orchestra, simply spectacular.

nevertoolate 12-02-2009 07:29 PM

my dad loved Dire Straits and Black Sabbath (lol at listing those two together) from what I can remeber and my mum lists Run To The Hills as one of her fave ever songs, so I guess thats where my love for guitars and drums stem from for me too

thanks for mentioning them in the death metal thread, this is pretty awesome so far

Txus 12-02-2009 07:54 PM

No problem, it's nice to see someone listening to them in here other than me. Like I said before, very underrated band in here. Be sure to get "The Supreme Force of Eternity" which is my favorite of theirs. Everything I've heard has been superb though.

DBlitz 12-02-2009 07:58 PM

yea, i have their first two albums (the one i'm listening to now and the one you mentioned)

Txus 12-02-2009 08:00 PM

Cool. Those are the only straight up DM albums they made. The rest are more within the death/doom genre.
