Yeah, so awkward. You would be like "So...internet huh..."
Well, I did meet DRybes from the forum (you might not know him, he was only in the pit), but it was planned. Still, it was pretty awkward.

MILF Hunter 10-15-2005 08:30 AM
I remember Evan. Well actually, I don't. What was his username?
EvanW. I think he's ditched punk for hc now.

I've met an mxer aswell and it was pretty awkard also.

Don't think I've seen him in the hardcore forum lately.

MILF Hunter 10-15-2005 08:37 AM

He hasnt posted for about a year

Jessizzle 10-15-2005 08:41 AM
He hasnt posted for about a year
he did when someone posted a punk zine, with his picture on it or something.

CombatRock 10-15-2005 09:15 AM

By mxers, im off to an all day music festival in Shiner (Shiner Bock Beer) called Bocktoberfest, allot of country music...and Audioslave, im just going for Audioslave, shall be a good time.

guns_of_brixton 10-15-2005 09:18 AM

Meeting anybody in person that you've met on the interweb is akward at first.

Shtein 10-15-2005 09:26 AM

I fractured my right toe again, discuss.

guns_of_brixton 10-15-2005 09:44 AM

I fractured my right wrist twice. Fractures suck.

Shtein 10-15-2005 09:51 AM

The difference about the fracture this time is I slipped going up the stairs, but last time i tripped over a hockey bag.

Skidmark Steve 10-15-2005 09:59 AM

i think meeting an MXer would be pretty funny. Is there anyone in here who is good friends with another MXer?

Shtein 10-15-2005 10:43 AM

I hope a meet another MXer it be cool, maybe ill meet (r)evelution some day.

Anti-Prefix 10-15-2005 12:13 PM
i think meeting an MXer would be pretty funny. Is there anyone in here who is good friends with another MXer?
I met Jacob (Wizard Mannequin) at a Subhumans/LoC show. We've been planning to hang out, but haven't.

But a lot of MXers are my friends.

AndreTheHyena 10-15-2005 12:15 PM

I hung out with STLRocker, who hasn't posted in over a year, at Warped Tour last year. It wasn't really that awkward, just a lot of silly small talk. Thank god, we didn't discuss MX or the Internet. That would've been so lame.

Brain Toad 10-15-2005 12:18 PM

I'm planning on meeting Sid eventually, even if it isn't planned, if I went to a show in SF, I'd probably run into him, even though I've never seen an actualy picture, his awesome will radiate across the room.

Eric says he's coming to visit me.... that will be a good night of buttsex.

guns_of_brixton 10-15-2005 12:23 PM

I've never met an MXer, I'd like to.

Skidmark Steve 10-15-2005 12:25 PM

hahaha

i always feel nerdy talking on this forum. so whenever someone comes in the room i minus it down. or i tell them its a guitar site...

im such a biotch

Brain Toad 10-15-2005 12:26 PM

Loser.

My dad used to come in and see me on the site and call it Mus-eh-can forums. He can't make fun of me for posting in a forum, because he posts in his own.

ThisUserIsAPipebomb 10-15-2005 12:32 PM

I always refer to it as "that forum I always go on"

Also, I hate when forced listening sits still.

AndreTheHyena 10-15-2005 12:34 PM

I call it "the forum I frequent" when I refer to it.

Most of my friends are on xanga, so whenever we get together and start talking about things going on in the xanga world, it's totally gay and we have to say, "Let's stop, this is totally gay". The internet is so lame.

Skidmark Steve 10-15-2005 12:37 PM

i barely go on MXtabs.net anymore. i usually go straight here

Brain Toad 10-15-2005 12:37 PM

I don't use any tabs site anymore.

Anarcho Poser 10-15-2005 12:38 PM

One time I left it open, and my five year old sister came in my room and copied whatever was on the screen onto a piece of paper.

I think it had something to do with Ihatehate beating up his brother because he had a mullet or somehting.

My sister thought it was the greatest thing ever.

ThisUserIsAPipebomb 10-15-2005 12:39 PM

I use MX tabs barely. I just don't really play that complicated of things besides the stuff I come up with, and that's not even complicated.

Brain Toad 10-15-2005 12:45 PM

I must say, I do love my macoroni salad. Salad of the gods.

shane italian 10-15-2005 12:46 PM

Ew. Mayo ruins it.

AndreTheHyena 10-15-2005 12:48 PM
I must say, I do love my macoroni salad. Salad of the gods.
No, the salad of the gods is the Cottage Salad I make at work. So amazing. Macaroni salad reminds me of trashy 4th of July picnics and pot luck dinners.

Sid 10-15-2005 12:48 PM

We never talk anymore Shane, remember those late nights in the hardcore community thread?

Brain Toad 10-15-2005 12:51 PM

I like the memories of picnics and such. Plus its just so good. Potato salad on the other hand, I could do without.

shane italian 10-15-2005 12:53 PM
We never talk anymore Shane, remember those late nights in the hardcore community thread?
I miss the old Soulseek days... :upset:

gastery6 10-15-2005 12:53 PM

The only salad that is good is any one with leaves in it, anything else is lame

guns_of_brixton 10-15-2005 12:54 PM
We never talk anymore Shane, remember those late nights in the hardcore community thread?
That is Andre teh Heyen0r you're talking to, unless I'm missing the sarcasm.

guns_of_brixton 10-15-2005 12:54 PM

Nevermind my last post. This avatar stuff is confusing the hell out of me.

Sid 10-15-2005 12:54 PM

Look above andre's post, genius!

EDIT: amirite?

guns_of_brixton 10-15-2005 12:55 PM

Yea I'm very confused. Sometimes I'll see one of my own posts and be like "omg ska pirate is back".

gastery6 10-15-2005 12:57 PM

how disapointing your life must be right now

Skidmark Steve 10-15-2005 01:00 PM

i was thinking. emo being a sub-genre of punk and all, most kids who listen to emo(atleast that i know of) dont know anything about real punk, or the history of punk. its very dissapointing.

Sid 10-15-2005 01:01 PM

Hey thievesandbastards, go on slsk.

Brain Toad 10-15-2005 01:13 PM
i was thinking. emo being a sub-genre of punk and all, most kids who listen to emo(atleast that i know of) dont know anything about real punk, or the history of punk. its very dissapointing.
Emo is a subgenre of hardcore, not punk. But since hardcore is a sub-genre of punk, emo would be a sub-subgenre, therefore. And the kids you are talking about probably don't even listen to actual emo, because all the people I know who actually listen to emo, know at least something about punk.

Skidmark Steve 10-15-2005 01:20 PM

What would bands like From First to Last, The Bled, Underoath, etc... be listed under?
