Broken Arrow 09-22-2005 08:45 PM

Haha, I have guitar oh man. I'm gonna get such a sweet mark on that.

ATM 09-22-2005 08:48 PM

Yea, I took guitar last quarter, and it was really, really easy.

Broken Arrow 09-22-2005 08:49 PM

Yeah, my teacher doesnt even know how to play, so basically she gets my friend and I to teach people/

magicbus 09-22-2005 08:53 PM

I'm 18. After Ray and Chris, I think I'm the next oldest.

I uploaded a cool video of "Careful With That Axe, Eugene" for anyone who's interested. I also downloaded "Spanish Jam".

In response to the question about homework in high school, I didn't really do much :/

suck_it57 09-22-2005 08:54 PM

What about Saga or THin Lizzy

BludgeonySteve 09-22-2005 08:56 PM

Thin Lizzy is cool. I saw them open for Deep Purple. Solid band.

I also got the Coltrane. I was hesitant to download it, because I already have a lot of his albums, and others might want it.

This Spanish Jam is real cool.

pohl_56 09-22-2005 09:01 PM

Anybody got any Thin Lizzy they could upload and send out? And yea-I'm 15 also so put me on that list. Usually I stay after school for all these clubs/whatever else I feel like doing and get hw done there and get home and post a smidge bit.

Broken Arrow 09-22-2005 09:37 PM

I did too.

BludgeonySteve 09-22-2005 09:40 PM
I think it's a backwards G-scale, which accounts for my ability to jam in G (I can't jam so easily in the others)
I really need to get bass, harmonica and bagpipe lessons, I keep on putting it off. Harmonica is so much fun to play, you can just keep it in your pocket and jam whenever

Speaking of Jams, does anyone have Spanish Jam? I've played the tab on rukind.com, it sounds like fun but I have never heard the actual recording

Heh heh...I can tell you are talking about Friend of the Devil without having to check the last page. Although I will anyways in case I missed some interesting conversation.

I got the Coltrane album, so I'm assuming everyone else did too. I also downloaded the Careful With That Axe Eugene video (which I was dying to watch), but at the last second it stopped and said the servers were reset or something along those lines.

edit- Yup, it was Friend of the Devil. I love playing that song.

Leper 09-22-2005 11:21 PM

Who here is a fan of Boston? I was going to buy their self titled album a while ago in a 3 for $25 deal, but the only copy they had in stock was cracked. I really don't know much outside their self titled album though.

Riva 09-23-2005 02:23 AM

They're good for the first album and the third, but I dislike their second. It's too much filler.

I didn't, and I didn't get Spanish Jam either
Could you send them to me?

And yeah, 10th grade is really easy, and so is senior year, but Junior year is a bitch

EDIT: Did anyone send any ELO? If it was sent, I didn't get any

Broken Arrow 09-23-2005 09:15 AM

Son of a bitch. I added to to that list after I sent "On the Beach". Oh well, I'm am reuploading "Spanish Jam" but I think the zip file for Coltrane had m4as in it.

Glitterati 09-23-2005 09:47 AM

Robert Plant was pretty incredible last night.

He did a really great cover of "Girl From The North Country" by Bob Dylan. It was great, he used a stand up bass and everything....great show.
Probably, is anybody else 15?
Me. 16 in November, though.

Jim the mariner 09-23-2005 11:25 AM

Robert plant is a great singer, but with a song as amazing as girl from the north country he cant geet it wrong

temporary 09-23-2005 12:24 PM

Thanks for uploading Careful With That Axe, Eugene. Its a pretty sweet video. I recently got a live video of Child in Time by Deep Purple if anyone is interested in it.

jpj 09-23-2005 04:19 PM

This semester is so easy, but next semester I have 3 honors classes, 2 of which are supposed to be fairly difficult :(

Jam2Me 09-23-2005 04:32 PM

I'm doing bad this year. AP Physics and AP Calc are owning me. AP Government, AP English, and Spanish 4 aren't too bad.

Illmatic 09-23-2005 04:37 PM

Wow...that is way too many AP classes.

Jam2Me 09-23-2005 04:39 PM

AP stands for Almost Passing.

PinkFreud 09-23-2005 04:39 PM

ah, my friend had ap classes for every class his senior year.

Lunch 09-23-2005 05:25 PM

Columbia in NYC is really nice.
