just messed around with my cheap picollo snare, and i cranked everything really tight.

then i took a bass drum patch and slid it under the snares just inbetween the edge and center of the reso and BAM!

sounds cool.

I'm actually working on a techno cd. I've got 18 songs, most just partially done. 4 are completely finished.

When I finish it I'm just going to hand some copies out to people for free. Just something I've been wanting to do for a while, decided I'd get around to it.

I use all Fruity Loops 6. I used to use 5, but 6 is that much better, so I transferred everything over and now I'm hooked on 6.

I've never used beatcraft, but I've heard it's a decent program.

Well, here's the problem. Today I bought a 14' Ebony Ambassador head for a tom. And when i was about to place it on the drum, i noticed my drum is a 13'. The stupid store wont change it, since i thre the receipt. So what should i do?? I can place it my snare, but would it sound good??

It would sound fine, but don't expect to do brushwork.
