They're nothing too special, but it's not really why I listen to them. Roger Waters does a fine job grooving with the rest of the band, and keeping up the low end.

Yeah, that's true. And Gilmoure muts be up there with the all time great guitar players.....he is so good....have you seen his concert form the Royal Hall 2001?? It's awesome...the musicianship level is incredible!!

Roger Waters wrote most of their later stuff. He was the bassist (of course you knew that) - and it goes to show that he was prepared to make music that didn't just have complex bass. Though, in actual fact, he was a ****ing egotistical prick, and split up the band.

Pink Floyd wasn't about any instrument in particular - it was about the way the music fit together.
