"A dystopia (from the Greek δυσ- and τόπος, alternatively, cacotopia, kakotopia, cackotopia, or anti-utopia) is the often futuristic vision of a society in which conditions of life are miserable and characterized by poverty, oppression, war, violence and/or terror, resulting in widespread unhappiness, suffering, and other kinds of pain."

Are you sure you chose the right word there?

yeah haha. all that cement and drones slaving away at paper work is extremely depressing to me

Meatplow 01-20-2010 11:02 PM

it feels weird out of context with the future

illmitch 01-20-2010 11:03 PM

drones slaving away at paperwork

timjim you should start a crust band

TimJim 01-20-2010 11:04 PM

well wouldnt the current NYC be something like they invisioned in the 1950's, though without the hovercabs and jet packs and such?

Meatplow 01-20-2010 11:07 PM

TimJim should write a screenplay for a post-apocalyptic film where biker chicks with large breasts roam the desert beheading people

TimJim 01-20-2010 11:15 PM
Wait so cities depress you for having mindless drones but you like the suburbs?
i like the suburbs because thats what i spent most of my time in.

and lets face it where there are big cities there is massive amounts of political corruption and poverty down the street from nordstrom and THAT is probably what i dislike the most idk though. i just get anxious in the city

rasputin 01-20-2010 11:16 PM

have a coke and chill out dude

Meatplow 01-20-2010 11:16 PM

political corruption is gonna get you in the street

illmitch 01-20-2010 11:17 PM

i dont really like big cities, id rather live in a small- to medium-sized town

definitely not the suburbs though lol

rasputin 01-20-2010 11:18 PM

depends on the city really. most european cities i would love to live in.

TimJim 01-20-2010 11:19 PM
political corruption is gonna get you in the street
nah but their cronies will

mitch: man if i lived in the boonies or a small town where everyone knows everyone i would lose my mind way faster than in the city

rasputin:123456

i wouldnt live in London though

illmitch 01-20-2010 11:19 PM

i aspire to raise a yuppie family in an average-sized city on the coast in new england or somewhere in the south along the gulf of mexico

Deth 01-20-2010 11:21 PM

entire gulf coast is redneck country

idk about the texas part actually but everywhere else is

Meatplow 01-20-2010 11:22 PM

I long to leave this city.

I might become a drifter for a while, rape and murder a few nuns traveling from town to town....
