I could buy a ps3 and still have 400 bucks in the bank, but then... my money would be gone. :(

LifeInABox 09-03-2007 06:03 PM

- moneyz = :(

Cravinov13 09-03-2007 06:03 PM

I'm poor = download whore

I don't have a PS3...it won't come in the mail until friday. :D

And I'm certainly not rich, just blowing what little money I have left over on student loans. I'll pay it back three fold later.

Angmar 09-03-2007 06:06 PM

Lots o' moneyz = Download whore.

It really doesn't make a difference heh, I have wal mart to buy cd's at.

I'm sure you find a lot of the stuff you want there!

:p

TojesDolan 09-03-2007 06:10 PM

Wal mart sucks for music acquisition.

I only buy analog tapes or obscure procedence.

Shadows 09-03-2007 06:13 PM

I download because a great portion of the music I like would be ungodly expensive.

Hence why I am a download whore, I think its been a year since I bought a CD there.

Me too but I found a flea market where I can find good music at decent price.

Last time a bought a cd in wal mart was about 3 years ago when I bought a Metallica album.

I order a lot online.

Kage 09-03-2007 06:16 PM

Ordering online is good.

Angmar 09-03-2007 06:17 PM

I only get vinyl online, which is more expensive so i don't even bother buying CDs since I buy so much vinyl.

Stormrider 09-03-2007 06:21 PM
Ordering online is good.
Yes. :)

That's cool stevo. I'de want to get some vinyls eventually.

Kage 09-03-2007 06:22 PM

I never buy vinyl online, most of my vinyl purchases are lucky finds in the ol' 1.99 and under bin.

Angmar 09-03-2007 06:24 PM

I never find good vinyls at garage sales n such, mostly just classic rock. I'm currently aiming for the new Dudkh collection and The Agalloch Ashes box. >_>

Shadows 09-03-2007 06:29 PM

Damn, when no one is online, the bandwidth here kicks ***. Downloading four albums at once at 200kbps.

Kage 09-03-2007 06:30 PM

I can upload albums on mediafire hella fast here. It used to take about an hour at my house, here it takes about 30 seconds.

Angmar 09-03-2007 06:32 PM

Uploading takes ages for me. Also my internet kicks in and out, so when it kicks out, my downloads stop and i have to reset them. :(

TojesDolan 09-03-2007 06:33 PM

It's weird how we try to compensate a lack of interpersonal love with upload internet speed.

It works, though.

Like, baadddddllyyyyy.

I'm going to leave and do some reading.

ATM 09-03-2007 06:38 PM

I'm still stealing internet until the 8th.

It is really unreliable.

pate 09-03-2007 06:40 PM

The internet in the dorms here was turltlenetz, but it's even worse in my current apartment.

And they watch internet activity/downloads like hawks, so I'm music download free.

ATM 09-03-2007 06:41 PM

They even notice stuff like mediafire, etc?

TojesDolan 09-03-2007 06:52 PM

Maybe not, if they are not given like file extensions like .mp3 it could be any kind of file really

LifeInABox 09-03-2007 07:15 PM

Truth.

Kage 09-03-2007 07:52 PM
They even notice stuff like mediafire, etc?
I don't see any way they could nail you for using mediafire and stuff.

Jesusmafia 09-03-2007 08:31 PM

luckily they don't watch my downloading in res, but they limit me to 2GBs bandwidth a week

Sleepy 09-03-2007 08:39 PM
I don't see any way they could nail you for using mediafire and stuff.
I don't see how they couldn't. If they notice their bandwidth usage going through the roof all of a sudden, they could track downloads back to his computer.

Shadows 09-03-2007 08:40 PM

Why would they care about mediafire? If they block downloads altogether, they're effectively destroying most of the usefulness of the internet.
