Sup bitches, the cob is here.

At the Drive-In >>(not by much>> The Mars Volta >>>> Sparta

B 04-07-2006 02:40 PM

Haha your show will be so sick.

Yeah, I'm so looking forward to it omg. It'll be mad fucking sick.

edit: sup Cob.

Sparta>TMV imo :)

Not many people like Sparta :(

Dead Star 04-07-2006 02:43 PM

TMV > ATD-I > Sparta

Mute Print 04-07-2006 02:45 PM

I only have Porcelain, but it's a pretty cool album.

I just can't get into The Mars Volta.

B 04-07-2006 02:45 PM

haha

In no way are TMV better than ATD-I.

Edit: Birna, I've only got Porcelain as well but I love it :).

Kif 04-07-2006 02:47 PM

I've grown to hate Omar Rodriguez-Lopez a lot, after finding out how much of a pretentious prick he is. He has some good taste in music, but when it comes to writing it, I'm not feeling it at all.

Gnarmageddon 04-07-2006 02:47 PM

ATDI > Sparta > TMV

Something with TMV never clicked for me. And Sparta are boring most of the time.

Mute Print 04-07-2006 02:48 PM

Haha, I missed Jamie's post.

At The Drive-In are 100x better than the Mars Volta, and I'm not even as much of a ATD-I fan as some of the people around here.

Dead Star 04-07-2006 02:53 PM

Meh, its just my personal opinion.

I won't bitch if you differ.

B 04-07-2006 02:53 PM

I like pretentious people because I am.

Spenc0r: I agree that Sparta get boring.

Birna: I also don't like ATD-I as much as lots of people but agree they are much better than their offspring.

Mute Print 04-07-2006 02:58 PM
Meh, its just my personal opinion.

I wasn't complaining about your opinion. I just found it funny, because most people seem to be all over ATD-I.

:)

B 04-07-2006 03:04 PM

I was. :)
I wasn't complaining about your opinion. I just found it funny, because most people seem to be all over ATD-I.

I know, I just get annoyed with the people who are like "OMG ATD-I ARE WAY BETTER THAN TMV NOOB"

So i accept peoples opinions in the hope they accept mine. :)

Kif 04-07-2006 03:05 PM

Does anyone know if Wolf Creek: Unrated Edition will ever see the light of day in the UK?

That's the way it should be. :-\

I mean, you can't tell someone their opinion is wrong. :p

Dead Star 04-07-2006 03:07 PM

No, but people try to do so.

Mute Print 04-07-2006 03:08 PM

Haha, I know they do.

You're getting close to 6,000, J.

Kif 04-07-2006 03:08 PM

That's exactly how I feel. Someone said the PS3 will be the best next-gen console in a thread at AP. I was fine with that. But then they said "There's no debate, it's a fact", and I just laid into them about it. His argument: "But PS3 has blu-ray... 360 doesn't".

I lost a few brain cells trying to talk to that retard.

B 04-07-2006 03:09 PM

I can.

Maybe my opinion is that your opinion is wrong? What happens then?

Note: I am joking bu this is a serious question.

Mute Print 04-07-2006 03:09 PM

Hahahah.

What is "blu-ray"?

cbmartinez 04-07-2006 03:10 PM

RHCP > TMV

Brian, I doubt the sing alongs are going to be that good considering not many people have heard of them on the East Coast.

Mute Print 04-07-2006 03:11 PM

Hahah, I realized that after I posted it.

We have a hardcore scene consisting of about 30 people. Every time I go to a hardcore/metalcore show, I see the exact same people.

It's still going to be amazing though.
RHCP > TMV
Oh, and this is truth. ^

Kif 04-07-2006 03:11 PM
Hahahah.

Some kind of new DVD where you can fit loads more on or something. I dunno.

And ATD-I > TMV. Then again, I am not big fans of either. I own Relationship Of Command and Deloused in the Comatorium, but that's it. Oh, I actually did buy Frances The Mute, because I kinda enjoy that. The only problem is you have to be in a really focused mood to listen to it.

Dead Star 04-07-2006 03:12 PM

Blu-Ray is a type of disc that holds a lot more than a normal DVD-ROM

So I am, forgot all about that.

Make friends with them :)

Mute Print 04-07-2006 03:13 PM
Make friends with them :)
I probably should.

The hardcore scene around here is a pretty tight-knit group. Everyone seems to know everyone else. Except me.

Dead Star 04-07-2006 03:14 PM

Hardcore Suxxx. jk

I only go to gigs with a group of 2 or 3 people I've been to every gig in my life with.

Mute Print 04-07-2006 03:15 PM

All 90+ shows I've gone to have been with the same person. my dad

:(

Yeah man. Then you can have some peeps to go to shows with and stuff.

We have no scene at all, consider yourself lucky :(

cbmartinez 04-07-2006 03:16 PM

I'm leaving for Marigold and In Pieces, see you brosephs later.
