I'm just pissed because I want to see them live one more time. I missed the last U.S. tour because I was on a school trip. It's just been a really long time since I've seen them live.

Surtr 10-20-2005 07:37 PM

Hmm here are some people who have the right idea...
I could care less if they got back together. Yea, itwould be great and I would probably buy the CD. But, it's not the end of the world that they aren't together.

I agree 100% I mean I really like Blink but they have had an excellent career as a band and they have released so many quality albums. If they were to get back together and release another album I would be happy but if they don't I'm not going to be mad at all.

That's how I feel as well. I still enjoy their music, and I'm sure I'd buy a new CD if one were to ever be released, but I've moved on, so it isn't a huge deal if they never return.
And as for you...
I'm just pissed because I want to see them live one more time. I missed the last U.S. tour because I was on a school trip. It's just been a really long time since I've seen them live.
Suck it up, I've never seen Blink live. Matt hasn't either...or at least if I remember correctly.

EDIT: Hehe..I just realized I went on a major slightly pointless qouting rampage...Whoo!

Pazz 10-20-2005 07:49 PM

Nice quoting rampage Stew. And no, I have never seen them live. I wanted to. When they first broke, I was super pissed that I never got the chance. There are many other bands that have concerts that I will see in the future and will probably be 10x better than a Blink concert.

B 10-20-2005 07:53 PM

Blink would be alright to see. The problem is that it'd be at a large place and they'd play all new stuff. Small venues would be better.

Small venues and old stuff, with some new stuff.

I'd jump on stage and boot Tom in the head and start playing instead of him.

Then steal his guitar, your plan for every concert you go see, steal the guitar.:p

DJ Ducksauce 10-20-2005 08:44 PM

Steal Claudio's if you go to a Co&Ca concert. His double neck looks pretty sweet. Whoops. Wrong thread.
The article was on Kerrang..orsomething. I live in the U.S., so I couldn't get it, but I got it from the AVA fansite. I believe it was http://www.angels-and-airwaves.com Tom, Mark and Travis just had different view of their family. Mark and Travis just wanted to be on stage and play music. Tom on the other hand, just needed a break.
I'm not whining.
I never said you were whining.

Anyways, I think Tom is maybe the one to blame here, Mark and Travis probably felt like he was abandoning them. If you notice on DVD's and interviews, Tom is the one who seems to be the most anti-social and independent. I've heard him say many times that he doesn't like most other people. He apparently just felt it was time to do something else, and naturally Mark and Travis got mad. It's their band too afterall.

16 Nipples 10-21-2005 06:24 AM

Yeah Tom tends to like things, and hate evrything else. Like on tour I can imagine Mark getting on well with the other bands but Tom would just kind of ignore them.

plaidbassbilly 10-21-2005 06:34 AM

I disagree. In an interview with the vocalist from Gyroscope, (who Blink toured with in Australia last year), he said that in the sound check Tom would be on the side of the stage requesting songs and stuff.

wow, gyroscope were so bad at the melboune show

Agent_Orange 10-21-2005 07:06 AM

Yeah Tom has always been a real friendly person. When they went on tour with TBS and No Doubt you could see Tom helping with stage set up for TBS before the show. I hate the way the break up has made Tom look like such an ass when it was agreed upon between the three of them to split.

Angry Balled Fists! 10-21-2005 07:07 AM

wow, i love TOYPAJ...

Yeah, Gyroscope were awesome both times, Brand New was cool but Sparta made me leave the pit and get a drink.

Agent_Orange 10-21-2005 07:35 AM

They made me want to drink but the homo at the bar wouldn't serve me.

Hey man, what bands are ya into now?

Pazz 10-21-2005 01:53 PM
wow, i love TOYPAJ...
Did you get the CD from me alright?

And where's my rep:p.

cobert 10-21-2005 02:44 PM
Hey man, what bands are ya into now?
Ive been into Coheed and Cambria, Thursday, Taking Back Sunday, At The Drive-In, and The Mars Volta for a while now (even back when i still liked blink). More recently ive added Saves the Day, Glassjaw, Further Seems Forever, and The Number 12 Looks Like You to that list. Not much of a change since back then except for not liking blink anymore.

And if you like Blink, i strongly suggest buying 'Through Being Cool' by Saves the Day, which is easily the best pop-punk album ive ever heard.

Pazz 10-21-2005 02:49 PM

I will go and download all of the "Saves the Day" songs:p. I need some more music and I will download random bands:lol:.

cobert 10-21-2005 03:01 PM

You cheap bastard, i said 'buy', not 'download'. And about the music on the computer thing, every CD that me, my friend, his parents, and some of the CD's from his other friends have ever owned, we have saved to his computer. He has something crazy, like, over a gig of music on his computer from us.

Also, my new avatar is fresh as shi'.

I know I'm cheap. I download the cd, and if I like it, I buy it when I have money.

cobert 10-21-2005 03:19 PM

Yeah, ive always prefered real CD's as opposed to something like an MP3 player or a burnt disc. I like the authenticity of the actual CD.

I perfer Cds much more to MP3s. I listen to my music on my iPod, but when you download, some of the songs get messed up and will skip at times. If I got the CD, and then put it on the computer and then onto my iPod, it would never skip.

CDs>MP3s
