goddamnit i hate being last-page-masta. Check out my **** on the last page new friends :chug:

Meatplow 08-26-2009 08:24 PM

I'm listening to Brethren's The Chosen, possibly some of the worst anti-semitic music ever put to tape. I can't stop listening though.

Neur0heiler 08-27-2009 12:13 AM

this is a rare album afaik there were only 150 physical copies released I'm glad I posted it

Meatplow 08-27-2009 12:39 AM
i've been listening to noise most of today

Meatplow 08-27-2009 06:27 AM

thanks man I know you are good for it :]

i'm back in a huge KMFDM phase, i've been listening to Naive and Nihil pretty much non-stop

Willie 08-27-2009 06:33 AM
thanks man I know you are good for it :]

i'm back in a huge KMFDM phase, i've been listening to Naive and Nihil pretty much non-stop
I'm on an industrial kick right now since I've recieved about 6 promos from Metropolis Records in the past few weeks. Mostly I've been re-visiting 16Volt's old albums (and loving the new one too).

I'm also trying to find Kevorkian Death Cycle's "Collection for Injection" and SMP's "Stalemate", so if you stumble across them let me know.

Meatplow 08-27-2009 12:26 PM

will do

i've decided to get some more Autechre

Jaundice 08-27-2009 02:58 PM

Only Autechre i have is Tri Repetae, hardly ever listen to it but its an interesting listen

Txus 08-27-2009 03:36 PM

That's an awesome album, my favorite Autechre album is Incunabula though.

That album got me into IDM music.

Meatplow 08-27-2009 08:05 PM
Only Autechre i have is Tri Repetae, hardly ever listen to it but its an interesting listen
Yeah, same.

BoC is still my favourite artist often labelled IDM. A lot of people seem to dislike them for being too "light" or something.

Jaundice 08-27-2009 08:08 PM

Only IDM I really spend any time listening to is Nine Inch Nails remixes

idk, its not my thing at this point in time

I have been known to check out a Catfight on a Hotdog EP from time to time tho

Aaron 08-27-2009 11:54 PM

 Was that sincere or you just name dropping me? Surely I'm not a real musician yet. lol.

Jaundice 08-27-2009 11:56 PM

it's just that your songs are the only thing labeled IDM that I ever really end up listening to lately

Aaron 08-28-2009 12:04 AM

For a while I had the ID3 tagging for genre as "Dance Dance Revolution" but I changed it on more recent releases.

Jaundice 08-28-2009 12:05 AM

I should give my songs real cool information on the tags

Nepenthe 08-28-2009 12:07 AM

i think all of my music is labeled as Japanese Hip Hop/Rap

Meatplow 08-28-2009 12:17 AM

oriental influenced new orleans neo-folk here

Jaundice 08-28-2009 12:21 AM

Multi-colored Scene-girl Sampler-pop

cjgone 08-28-2009 10:43 AM

Used to listen to industrial metal.

Bled for days by Static-x was so awesome back in the day. :DD

Jaundice 08-28-2009 04:17 PM

Yeah Static X was cool as a kid

try Ministry?

Aaron 08-28-2009 11:04 PM

I must admit I've been known to spin Rammstein on occasion.

Murdererer 08-28-2009 11:40 PM

\m/ wisconson death trip \m/

Jaundice 08-30-2009 09:01 PM

listening to Kluster for the first time in months, pretty good stuff

any one here a fan?

Meatplow 08-30-2009 09:33 PM

so I assume there is a difference between that and the Cluster you introduced me to previously?

going through an IDM phase atm, listening to Autechre, Mrs Jynx's The Standoffish Cat and Black Lung's Full Spectrum Dominance quite a bit.

Jaundice 08-30-2009 09:35 PM

Kluster is Cluster with one extra member, Conrad Schnitzler

and when he left they changed to Cluster

Meatplow 08-30-2009 09:42 PM

I see. Were they trying to give themselves a more western appeal?

Jaundice 08-30-2009 09:44 PM

doubt it

it's pretty interesting to listen to from time to time though. 20+ minute long songs, very textural and atmospheric

Meatplow 08-30-2009 09:48 PM

excellent

I might get some more Nurse With Wound

Jaundice 08-30-2009 10:14 PM

try the collab he did with Whitehouse?

I haven't heard it yet but I fully plan to, it's called The 150 Murderous Passions

Meatplow 08-31-2009 04:20 AM

sounds good, i've been listening to a lot of whitehouse recently

of Nurse With Wound i've only heard Chance and the Current 93 remix album Crooked Crosses For The Nodding God, i'm didn't like the latter so much but i'm still curious about his work

Meatplow 09-01-2009 05:11 AM

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_52241cMx24

pretty cool old school Foetus interview and performance of Descent Into The Inferno, its like bad karaoke. :)

Aaron 09-01-2009 05:15 AM

Nurse With Wound's "Who Can I Turn To Stereo" is really good.

FatalEnergy 09-01-2009 11:36 AM
Nurse With Wound's "Who Can I Turn To Stereo" is really good.
Definitely

Txus 09-01-2009 11:44 AM

My favorite NWW album is probably A Sucked Orange.

Who Can I Turn To Stereo is really good too.

imperialblackness 09-01-2009 07:27 PM

****ing huge discography

Jaundice 09-01-2009 07:28 PM

im on the nurse with wound list

Meatplow 09-02-2009 01:23 AM

I always find myself listening to The Avalanches, I should probably be sick of them by now.
