We learned about Biafra in history. The country not the guy.
I didn't even know it was a country too.

sketchyjoe 06-09-2005 05:09 PM

It wasn't a country for very long.

Let's Chop Cats! 06-09-2005 05:11 PM

You'd be surprised what other punk rock figure heads have taken their name from extinct countries. Danzig.

guns_of_brixton 06-09-2005 05:14 PM
It's easy. I made a really crappy tab up on mx, but it's probably the closest to correct.
Naw, its a good tab. I like how you said "use some sort of effect to get the evil sound".

And to whoever was asking, it's an easy song, I learned it in 5 minutes.

CombatRock 06-09-2005 05:20 PM

what song are yall talking about?

guns_of_brixton 06-09-2005 05:53 PM

When Ya Get Drafted

Thats about the extent of it. Or is it?

sketchyjoe 06-09-2005 07:28 PM

Dboon was a small island off Malta. Strummer was merged into Croatia when Yugoslavia broke up. Rollins was a small volcanic island that sunk beneath the waves after a particularly large eruption. HR was the old name for Eritrea.

Brain Toad 06-09-2005 08:05 PM

Ever listen to Tumor Circus? It's a project Jello did with some guy and members of Steel Pole Tub (I think that's their name). It's kind of like Lard. If you haven't listened to either check them out.

Maybe I'll YSI the stuff from The Witchtrials, which is Jello and EBR doing some experiemental type stuff.

Forest_Fire 06-09-2005 09:13 PM

You should.

Brain Toad 06-09-2005 09:33 PM

Ever hear of the fake album called Jello with Plainfield when this crappy band called Plainfield made a band with a guy that sort of sounds like Jello to make fun of him? It is really bad.

I love it.

So tonight I heard Boysetsfire's cover of "Holiday In Cambodia". It was actually really good.

Brain Toad 06-10-2005 11:40 PM

Riot is really great. Live versions are really good too, it gets extended a lot.

CombatRock 06-11-2005 12:21 PM

Crazy, crazy, crazy crazy crazy....

sketchyjoe 06-11-2005 12:27 PM

That's the real order.

Brain Toad 06-12-2005 03:22 PM

Did anybody download The Witchtrials?

RazorsInTheNight 06-12-2005 03:25 PM

Bedtime is a better album than most people make out, of course no FFFRV but it does have some great tracks.

Brain Toad 06-12-2005 03:26 PM

I like some tracks on it, maybe its because I don't own it on CD I don't appreciate it as much. I need to order soon I think, since Rasputin never has it.

RazorsInTheNight 06-12-2005 03:26 PM
Did anybody download The Witchtrials?
What size is it? If it is too big I would prefer to download it off soulseek.

Brain Toad 06-12-2005 03:28 PM
What size is it? If it is too big I would prefer to download it off soulseek.
Not too big, only 4 tracks.
