recorded another sludge song yesterday with my friend, got it all finished but after 5 takes the vocals still weren't sounding good and i had lost my voice by then

i just skram really hard to

try to pitch your voice up out of your eyes/nose, i do that and it doesn't really hurt my throat

i try and use the back of my throat

i find if i move around while i do it, it helps too

I never really learned any technique. I just gradually found out how to scream without fucking up my throat. Now I can more or less scream for hours on end with no problem. Lots of high pitched screams still hurt after a while, though.
