Here's a bit of trivia. About that little notch at the base of the blade.

Ghurkha's believed that every time their khukri was unsheathed then it must be used to draw blood.

So if it was whipped out to slit the throats of a platoon of invading japs then all well and good. But if the blade was used for anything else, like to strip bark or prepare food, then you'd use that little notch to prick your finger and bleed a bit of your own blood on it.

So Dave has the right idea. Strip tree, dice tree, decapitate infidel.

Has the potential to be truly epic.
