It's great, basically a best of although I would dispute that, I would have doctored the playlist quite a bit. It's also got loads of live and unreleased tracks on it plus a kick a[B]s[/B]s dvd to go with it, I think it has 2 with the deluxe version, one a load of clips from early days to present and the other one a live gig in California '02, I only have the cheaper version of this though :upset: I wasnt gonna pay 30 quid more for a single dvd and a flag :p

Well I have still reigning and I love it but, I'v heard that war at the warfeild (don't know if thats correct) is better, I can't find War at the warfeild any where I'v looked for months, do you guys think its better and worth picking up?

IMO Still Reigning is better.

War At The Warfield has a poorer guitar sound, a worse setlist, and Tom's voice is not as good as Still Reigning.

Although it does have Captor Of Sin, Chemical Warfare and Hell Awaits on it, which were sadly absent from Still Reigning.

I just got God Hates Us All and I am really impressed.

From what iv'e heard from that album, i don't like, Disciple isn't half-bad, but it is ruined by crap vocals and a piss-poor solo from Jeff.

I though GHUA really sucked, hopefully the good ol' Slayer will be refueled again with Lombardo back on board, and kick us out a great thrash album

Gotta agree. Not with the crap about guitars but what this guy's saying. You guys sort of seem to be expecting everyone who posts to kiss up to Slayer. You people can like Slayer all you want, I don't give a crap. But if it's a "discussion" thread (in the majority of people's eyes at least), so expect some criticism of the band. Otherwise it's just a "kiss a$$" thread where everyone has to say something good, or not say anything at all. Even so, not everyone will agree with your opinions of the band.

Are you blind or just ignorant? You obviously didn't read my earlier post which said that if you're gonna say 'I don't like Slayer' at least back it up with a reason. The other guy, Kadeon is trying to do although his reasons for not liking Slayer are somewhat flawed so he has to resort to comparing them with another band.

Obviously there are going to be people who don't like Slayer. Most of us accept that. We already know you dislike them, as you have told us numerous times.

Reign in Blood was a great album, but it is obvious it is the only album some people on this thread own by them. The riffs are tight on it, but the coolest sounding ones for me came earlier.

yea that album got alot of bad reviews by slayer fans, idk why. i love that album. not my favorite, my favorite would be show no mercy but still a great album, ever slayer album is good. (except divine album, punk covers dont go good with me)

another topic: i was watching unairum (or however you spell it) on fuse and the showed a little clip of tom and kerry sitting on a couch. they looked over wieght to me. tom looked like he has a double chin, and kerry was leanding back and his belly looked bigger than normal. was it just a bad angle or is it true that they put on a few pounds?

Hey, I know that. Myself, I was backing it up with reasons. I'm not defending this guy in particular. I'm just saying... On boards like this, expect some negativity about any band you make a thread about. Especially Slayer, Pantera, Nirvana, or Metallica.

I do expect negativity about Slayer, and it came, then people felt compelled to reiterate their point over and over. The problem is that people think their opinion truly matters and if they voice it enough they'll hopefully get everyone else to share their opinion.

Max is in key with the music he sings to, at least on the two albums I have. And Im not talking about range, im just talking he plain cant sing. Mustaine (at least in the studio) can sing perfectly. I never said Kerry King messed up. I said hes boring because he uses chromatics. But since you want to go there, I challenge you to find one Slayer live show where Kerry or Jeff doesnt make one mistake.
