Yeah, sounds cool. I don't know if there will be any Ripper songs though. Not very popular are they? I thought the DVD was a British show though.

Here is the link for it. |
I read in a book that the guitarist uses a bass string for the low E on his guitar. Is this true?

Well, if that's true then i'm very surprised. Playing with a regular sized bass string would be nuts. |

Everyone in the Guitar Forum says "No". |
I think the guitarists use pretty thin strings actually.
*glares at RumBoy* get back to talking about Priest!
Has anyone except Lord Brummington seen Priest on this tour yet? I need another review.
 They're amazing live. |
I also want to see some more setlists. I need to prepare for this.
|
I'm guessing it'll be pretty much the same setlist that they did when I saw them.
I wonder if they'll ever play Lochness live. |
I would love to see Lockness live.
I am going to check your setlist again. Needs more Painkiller songs. |
Give them a chance Brum, they've only toured with AOR songs for about 3 months now. :) It'd be great to see them live, though.
|
Thanks for the bump. We need to keep this alive until I see the show.
I've fallen in love with Exciter lately. |
SCREW YOU MXICAN, I WAS GOING TO REVIEW PAINKILLER!!!

Here's the latest info:
JUDAS PRIEST kicked off the North American leg of their world tour on Monday (May 30) at the Blossom Music Center in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. The group's setlist was as follows: 01. Hellion/Electric Eye 02. Metal Gods 03. Riding on the Wind 04. Touch of Evil 05. Judas Rising 06. Revolution 07. Breaking the Law 08. I'm A Rocker 09. Diamonds and Rust (acoustic) 10. Deal with the Devil 11. Beyond the Realms of Death 12. Turbo Lover 13. Hellrider 14. Victim of Changes 15. Exciter 16. Painkiller First Encore: 17. Hell Bent for Leather 18. Living after Midnight Second Encore: 19. You've Got Another Thing Comin' According to one concert attendee who contacted BLABBERMOUTH.NET, "[JUDAS PRIEST] played just under two hours to a crowd of around 10,000, The setlist, aside from the new songs and 'Exciter', was pretty generic for the most part and a bit disappointing. With such an extensive catalog, it sure would be nice if the band would pull out some different songs as opposed to the same old ones they seem to play 'live' all the time. It's just too predictable and included far too many repeats from last year's Ozzfest performance. [Rob] Halford struggled with his vocals, especially in the second half of the set." |
Good setlist me thinks. I saw a really good set on metal-rules.com, I'll go and find it.
Here we go: 1. Intro – The Hellion 2. Electric Eye 3. Metal Gods 4. Riding on the Wind 5. The Ripper 6. A Touch of Evil 7. Judas Rising 8. Revolution 9. Hot Rockin’ 10. Breaking the Law 11. I’m a Rocker 12. Diamonds and Rust (acoustic) 13. Deal with the Devil 14. Beyond the Realms of Death 15. Turbo Lover 16. Exciter 17. Victim of Changes 18. The Green Manalishi (with the Two Pronged Crown) 19. Painkiller ----------------------------------------------------- 20. Hell Bent for Leather 21. Living After Midnight 22. You’ve Got Another Thing Comin’ |
Are we going to be allowed to do a cover song for the competition thingy?
We could do Lochness :p |
Saw Priest at Hammersmith Apollo and was pleased beyond belief. Got right to the front but unfortunately didn't get any guitar picks etc off band. Extremely loud and heavy though - Priest are the best Heavy Metal band.

w00t.

It seems like theres alot traditional metal bands putting out new material (Megadeth, the Crue, etc) and Priests work is the only stuff that has impressed me so far, Revolution great song.

They were awesome though. |
