ANGUS YOUNG13 01-12-2005 08:29 PM

why did phil rudd leave acdc for a little while which is why they have soo many dumers

gtarriff 01-12-2005 08:30 PM

(For the first singer question)
All i remember is the first guy wasnt bon his last name was evans thats all I know oh and that evans was terrible

ANGUS YOUNG13 01-12-2005 08:33 PM

true his last name is evans and he was terrible thats why they fired him and hired they re limo driver bon scott

rippa32 01-13-2005 03:47 AM

It was Dave Evans. Phil Rudd left cause he got into a fight with Malcolm. Simon Wright left cause of musical differences and Chris Slade was kicked out after the band had a jam session with Phil and decided to bring him back. And I have explained countless times where they got there name from.

Ulysses 01-13-2005 05:00 AM

Simon Wright had liking of Dio and when long time friend Ronnie James Dio asked him if he could assist them in the studio he accepted which led him to leave AC/DC in favour of Dio.

edit #2(after reading more carefully and doing some math): I realized now you guys were doing some trivia hahaha im sorry

LiZZySkYnRd7^ 01-13-2005 05:48 AM

Bon Scott was one of a kind indeed. People often compare Brian Johnsons voice and his, and say they can't tell them apart and to me that is insanity. Don't get me wrong, as far as replacement singers go, Brian was ace...but there never was and never will be a voice like Bons. The pure embodiment of lust and rock and roll if ever there was one. Rock n Roll personified.

/ sidenote: I read that Ozzy wrote suicide solution in honour of Bon...is this true?
