When "I can't believe it's not butter" decided to conquer the gravy world they made a mistake on their choice of a marketing ploy.

I'm pretty good, Joe, having money again is nice. :)

How about yourself? Been up to much this weekend?

BenJammin 03-29-2009 01:29 PM

Gimme about 40 minutes and I'll listen to it, got a Japanese lesson on right now and don't wanna break my flow too much. It is bad enough with me making this post. I shall stop being anti-social soon enough. :p

Sumimasen. ^_^

Went to the Music as a Weapon IV show last night. Lacuna Coil, Chimaira, Killswitch Engage, Disturbed.

It was fun. Very lively crowd and some of the best pits I've ever been in. During the Killswitch set, I was involuntarily crowd surfed about 8 feet and then dropped straight to the floor. 6 feet, flat on my back....not fun.

I'm in awesome amounts of pain right now with a terribly sore and mildly swollen lower back, a black eye, and a kinked neck (± all of the bruises on arms and legs).

GREAT show.

Girlicious was at the nightclub I was at yesterday.

They were ****

Two of them were attractive and two looked like men.

Fuck, they played here a while back. Absolutely laughable. I didn't see them, but a friend of mine did because she works at the venue, and said it was ridiculous.

They literally played for 45 minutes. Worst part of it all is that I was DD so it was even more unbearable

BenJammin 03-29-2009 02:44 PM

That blows, dude. I hope you got some bow-chicka-wow-wow out of it.

So, I'm selling my bass to a buddy, and I don't really want to make a thread, so I'll ask here.

I'm not looking for some godly awesome bass, I want something classic and cheap that I won't be afraid to beat up.

y or n?
check one.

BenJammin 03-29-2009 02:55 PM

It's a good bass. Friend of mine has the same thing, but a lower grade model. Plays good and sounds decent.

IPolkaLikeThis! 03-29-2009 02:58 PM

good to know.

is it heavy?

BenJammin 03-29-2009 02:59 PM

I can't remember. It's been a while since I played it. It weighs less than a Peavey T-40, if that helps. :p

Anyone here renting their own place?

Rather, is anyone familiar with the process of subletting your lease? I'm trying to help my friend do it so he can move into a place with me but I'm not to educated on the subject.

Dude, that sounds like it must have been epic! The 6 foot drop on your back sounds a bit nasty though. Be thankful you never broke anything though. A friend of mine saw Mastodon a while back and some crazy guy did a stage dive and people were just like, "Eh, naw mate.", and he got dropped to the ground and his collar bone broke and started protruding.

Hope it was a still a fun night despite the battle damage!

It depends on the contract you have with your place. If you're on a lease already, you'll have to read the lease about subletting as most places wont allow it.

You can get him added to the lease if it doesn't break the max occupancy per lease.

It was still a fun night for sure. I'm going to hold off on the crowd surfing for a bit though.

Probably best, crows are generally not very strong. ;)

DaveSavesTheDay 03-29-2009 05:27 PM

Gattsu347 03-29-2009 05:28 PM

DaveSavesTheDay 03-29-2009 05:36 PM

sixxbassist90 03-29-2009 05:59 PM

yo...

DaveSavesTheDay 03-29-2009 06:11 PM

why 30, Gattsu?

Isnt the normal age for inheritance 21? I've heard 25 but thought that was old.

Sablate McNuff 03-29-2009 06:21 PM

Maybe so that he has time to really work and build a life for himself, appreciating and carefully spending the money.

In other news, I discovered Portishead (band) a couple days ago. I quite like them.

Gattsu347 03-29-2009 07:28 PM

idk man, it was written in her will. long lost relative.
