all you need is one crazy girl.
How exactly do you find one of those? I get the feeling I'm not looking in the right places. |
Great, I just went outside to walk my girl to the bus/tram stop, it's really nice outside, even though it's night. Perfect temperature.
I'm gonna listen to the doors now. |
It's still snowing here
I want Spring, dammit. |
it was 16 degrees centigrade this afternoon when i was having my driving lesson.
now playing: dream theater - in the name of god |
How exactly do you find one of those? I get the feeling I'm not looking in the right places.
Heh, pure coincidence, I suppose. It started when I was just checking her out on the tram. But she noticed me staring, but I happened to be in quite an Euphoric mood (had just bought some cool CD's, plus it was evening, and I was just feeling funky.) So I kept glancing at her once in a while. Then for a few months, we just did that, stare at each other, in school (she was a few years lower) and on the tram. Then I performed in school show (with the band), playing some cool songs on guitar and one on bass. Then the day after that she added me on MSN (she had been stalking me for my e-mail, apparently). Thereupon she invited me for a drink, and I don't know, I'm usually a really shy person, but something just snapped in me, I was just a real playa. And yeah, then it all started. :) /story :smoke: |
lucky you
/is 17 and has only had 1 serious relationship |
Hey everyone.
exciting new avator. |
She was/is my first girlfriend too, and I was 17 at the time. :)
To be fair, I hadn't even talked to a girl up till then. :-/ |
/is going on 19 and has had zero serious relationships
/me waits for Ramsey to go "123 x-sept I am teh 19 lol" :p Anyways, I am slowly learning Guitar Pro, although this thirty-day limit pisses me off. |
well i suppose i should say serious as in lasted more than a month... it was nearly 3 months in the end. that was well over a year ago now as well
|
When the thirty days is over, you can still keep it. It wont even go away, and it will still let you in. You just can't save over 24 bars and you can't print. I think, maybe, that if you just change one of the like four minute long sample songs and save it that it will save.

Also, I did quite well on my English pronunciation test today. :)
|
Also, I did quite well on my English pronunciation test today. :)

Also, I did quite well on my English pronunciation test today. :)
:eng101: /me throws a pronunciation party for Jelle |
English is my favorite subject probably, though its cause I kick ass it at. :smoke:
|
I only got "Quay" wrong, I didn't have a clue it was pronounced differently.
I was just like "k?" |
Yeah, "quay" = "key." I'm sure there are people who speak English that pronounce it "kway" or "kooay" and think they're saying it correctly :p
You know how in GTA3 (maybe you don't) how the first island has a city called Atlantic Quays? It's basically pronounced "Atlantic Keys." That's tricky, though :) |
Hello all.
|
I only got "Quay" wrong, I didn't have a clue it was pronounced differently.
I was just like "k?"
I had no idea that was an English word. I've never heard it before...apparently it means "wharf." |
Hello all.
Hey bartender. What's up? |
Hello [chicken] 'Tender.
/me is hungry, obviously |
Hello all.
Hey, Bartender. How was your day? |
They put really nasty things on that test, at least for Belgians.
Like: Read : Call, Carl, Called, Coal Read: Merry, Mary, Married Read: Hide, Height Read: 3,333 ('TH' madness) Etc. |
I had no idea that was an English word. I've never heard it before...apparently it means "wharf."
Yeah..I've lived within reasonable distance of a quayside my whole life though, so I'm lucky not to have had problems with it. |
ATM: How'd it go?
|
I got second place in a spelling bee. I spelled antelope anteloupe.
|
What's up?
I've got a cold/flu thing going on, which is annoying. The second essay (political philosophy) has gone by really well though, so I'm feeling good. I've just got a couple of hundred words left to do, and that'll just be rounding up whether the state we live in is one built on social contracts (having spent the rest of the essay talking about the ins and outs of a hypothetical state built as such). I love my subject :) The Apprentice (one of the few TV shows I like) was good tonight, too. (and it's a reality one!) |
 Way to make me feel like an uncouth American, Bartender. :upset: Instances like these just prove my dad's idea that Americans don't speak real English.
I disagree with that assessment, but the accents we've got do suck a lot. But that's ok...I'm a WWII buff and so if I want to feel better about myself I just read about how Americans came to the UK and stole all your women because they had money and chocolate and you didn't. :D EDIT: This is a reference to your "quayside" post if you got confused. |
ATM: How'd it go?
