And what's the deal with GCF? Why are they always dismissed as a gimmick band?

They're about half gimmick. Listen to the track ZTV Interview (I wanna be straighedge). I know it's on the discog, not sure if it's on any other albums. It explains what they're about.

They are seen as a gimmick because they keep to being humourous straight edge vegan positive hardcore, which is kind of gimmicky and corny. I don't think people should dismiss them because of it, because it's an awesome way to make hardcore and if more bands were like them, I'd listen to a lot more hardcore.

And now it is time for me to down my NyQuil and go to sleep. Almost got myself stuck in a music tagging spree, dangerous at this time of night.

They are probably my favorite hardcore band right now, and I don't even really like hardcore, so they must be doing something right.

My old karate school used to have a haunted house. My dad used to work in it as an insane doctor since he had all the scrubs and stuff from work. I would never go in it though, I don't like haunted houses and being scared and crap.

Yeah. Sometimes I wonder why people like being scared.
