I could eat peanut butter cups all day. They are godly.

The Negation 08-15-2006 12:34 PM

Tell me about it, and they have these Reese's Pieces things as well. M&Ms are nothing compared to them...but now my stash is over.
Theyre like crack.

Lord Abortion 08-15-2006 12:52 PM

You lot are making me hungry:(

The Negation 08-15-2006 01:02 PM

I just had supper consisting of salmon and rice.
Joy.
I wish I could buy those peanut butter cups here.

Anyone know where I can get free mobile games from?

Mexican Bandito 08-15-2006 01:22 PM

Hey guys

Today wasn't so good. I walked into work this morning just to clear my head then spent the whole day putting out price tickets. *yawn yawn*
That was me just finished at 7, now my head is thumping and I feel sick.
Got home and my new lip rings had arrived which I was surprised about because I only ordered them yesterday afternoon. They look swish

I'm just about to check train times to see if I can get down to England next week :D

/falls asleep

PAJJ 08-15-2006 02:12 PM

yo zo,
yeah i'm just that cool

you day sounds similar to mine, i stapled and folded like 2000 booklets. which really is one of the most exciting things to do, and too top the day off, i got a screw in my shoe, so i took it off, and while it was off a hammer fell on my foot, then much swearing ensued.

oh thanks for reminding me, i need to arrange to get to london :)

Lord Abortion 08-15-2006 02:23 PM

It would have been more ironic if a screwdriver dropped on your foot.

PAJJ 08-15-2006 02:29 PM

yeah, and it wouldn't of hurt anywhere near as much, unless it actually impaled itself in my foot....

ChodaBoy 08-15-2006 02:42 PM

That would require "picsplzkthxbye"

So fake it!

Finished my Sailing the Seas of Cheese review =]
A band as unrepentantly self-indulgent as Primus will always be difficult to categorise, and never more so than with their landmark 1991 release, 'Sailing the Seas of Cheese'. Though it was their next release, 1993's 'Pork Soda' that was to truly break the band, quickly going multi-platinum, 'Sailing ... ' is arguably the superior album, if not the more accessible of the two.

A quick look at the track listing would suggest an unusual method is at work here, and indeed this is no usual band. Bassist/singer Les Claypool's tour de bizarre, completed by drummer Tim 'Herb' Alexander and guitarist Larry 'Ler' Lalonde, showcases it's eclectic and intelligent combination of funk, hick and thrash-metal with a glorious energy throughout.

A variety and versatility of musicianship and song writing constantly refreshes the album, the knowing innocence and sometimes immature subject matter for songs such as “Jerry Was A Race Car Driver”, “Here Come The Bastards”, “Is It Luck?” and “Tommy The Cat” do nothing but endear the band to the listener. The bands’ lightning musicality and the obscenely magnetic style have ensured their place as cult legends.

In short, an essential purchase.

PAJJ 08-15-2006 03:23 PM

nowt much, sorting out stuff for me wee sis' birthday, listening to some mooosic, and doing a painting i shouldn't really be doing
i'd probably get them all done faster if i focused on just one, but meh, procrastination is fun, mxing probably doesn't help either
what aboot yaow?
(yeah i'm stretching my knowledge of norhtern talk a bit thin :-/)

nice review, not the easiest band to sum up, but that's pretty good

What's on Film4 tonight?

Patrick O))) 08-15-2006 03:58 PM

One Fine Day, that Clooney film.

It's pretty good, only a bit too rom-com for me right now.

The Dish is on on thursday, that's excellent

Lord Abortion 08-15-2006 03:59 PM

The Football Factory is on this week, though I haven't seen the film or got film 4, I read the book and it's great.

Patrick O))) 08-15-2006 04:04 PM

It's supposed to be good, but that's:
Excellent!
So I'm reserving judgement till I see it myself.

Jev 08-15-2006 04:09 PM

I've seen it, it was pretty good from what I remember.

And my neighbours are blasting techo. Must resist urge to kill.
