get a cat and a dog of the same size and stick them in a room together.

see which one is more dominant. (it would oviously be the cat, it would kik the dogs ***) although sayin this i do like dogs aswell
Ha you've never seen kangals......even the pups would shred a cat to pieces.

The adult kangals anhillate packs of wolves attacking a sheep herd

White Riot! 11-26-2006 05:32 PM

comparing a family dog to a vicous cat (most of them are) isnt a fair deal , lets compare them to a protective dog.

just to emphasise a point...

This is a 90kg old english male mastiff wrestling a 50kg kangal bitch.....although smaller the kangal takes down the larger mastiff time and time again

thats a weight ratio of %140....and the kangal takes it down easy.

even as a pup , trained to defend a kangal will put your pathetic cat into an early grave.

Panopticon 11-26-2006 05:33 PM

I have a new found love for Porcupine Tree

Played a local Battle of the Bands last night and came 2nd! Was crazy as we expected to come last! It was voted by the audience and judges. Considering we didn't bring anyone to vote for us and the other bands bought what seemed like their whole family tree, we're quite amazed with 2nd place!

This video is strange. My band is strange. We wanted to scare people and make them laugh and I hope we did that. The lead singer is wearing a dress, the guitarist a string vest and a gag and we have a friend of the band come in and do some more weird stuff. Sadly its a bit dark and there's a lot going on!
I'm kinda annoyed as the vid stops just before the end of the song where I throw my sticks and hit both singers in the head then pick up another set of sticks and finish it! The guys told me afterwards they thought someone had thrown a glass at them or something hehe!

Quick pointer: in no way does this song reflect my drumming style as its supposed to effed-up!

I got into Porcupine Tree a bit for a while, but they never kept my interest too long. Guess it's just not my thing for the most part.

Then it's 'I wanna marry Gav Harrison'

Well that's what happened to me anyway. Getting Deadwing tomorrow, can't wait.

Great band.

White Riot! 11-26-2006 05:46 PM

The dog isnt viscous. The thing about these dogs is that they are versatile , smart and adaptive. If they were viscious they would have no use as shepard dogs

From Wiki.

"The Kangal Dog's protectiveness and gentleness with small children and animals has led to its growing popularity as a guardian for families as well, as it watches members of its flock with extreme devotion."

"The ideal Kangal dog should be calm, controlled, independent, and protective. They may be aloof towards strangers, but a well-socialized Kangal Dog is friendly with visitors and especially children. They must never be shy or vicious. A well-trained Kangal is sensitive and alert to changing situations, responding to threats with judicious warnings and courageous action if necessary. They make good guardians of livestock and humans alike, but they may not be suited for the inexperienced a dog owner, as the independent intelligence of the Kangal makes for a difficult pupil."

The kangals have less than a quarter of the number of bite statistics than both dobermans and german shepards

Last time I check no breed of cat has the characteristics to defend its family. Its simply not part of their psyche.

My uncle owns one. And that dog would easily give its life to protect its family. No cat will ever give you anything like that. My uncles dog Sultan is so smart.....other dogs bark like **** when they detect an intruders presence....this dog reacts according to the situation

Viscious is killing for sport.....and thats what cats love to do , the sadistic bastards

Aaron 11-26-2006 05:54 PM

Cats are better than dogs, IMO. On a side note, anyone ever seen a picture of Damo's cat? Funniest thing ever.
Is it just like beatboxing with you mouth/
As if there were any other way to beatbox?

MatthewMeredith 11-26-2006 06:02 PM

That sounds like a challenge.

White Riot! 11-26-2006 06:05 PM

Dogs are waaaaaaay better waaayyyyyyyy better. They aint even in the same league.

Dogs can protect you
Dogs can help you do work
Dogs are very loyal
Dogs always love you (i.e not when you are about to feed them)
Dogs can be trained for uses sniffing drugs (not particulary useful for phil see as he takes the junk)
Dogs can help the blind
Dogs can fetch things
Dogs can guard stuff
Dogs can play with children
Dogs can locate bombs
Dogs can find people trapped in a collapsed building
Dogs can hunt down criminals or escaped jews
Dogs can be very entertaining
Dogs can motivate or make you exercise
You can take your dogs with you in the car
Dog can round up sheep
Dogs can provide racing/gambling entertainment

When did a cat do any of those things? A cat can do like three things

1. entertain , & crawl when it wants something
2. catch mice
3. provide a function for old ladies to exist

cats are inferior

it sleeps on my parents bed...only meows or comes around when its hungry or wants to go outside...my dog is way better.

Aaron 11-26-2006 06:11 PM

A cat doesn't chew on my $270 shoes. Enough said.

Dave*Grohl 11-26-2006 06:11 PM

Dave*Grohl 11-26-2006 06:12 PM

Drum Phil 11-26-2006 06:12 PM
A cat doesn't chew on my $270 shoes. Enough said.
A well trained dog doesnt chew anything.....

likewise if you dont take appropriate measures with a cat it will spray in your house and say goodbye to nice smelling house after that moment.....the smell of cat piss comes from the jaws of hell itself....nothing short of an atomic bomb can fix.....

so your point is quite invalid

And $270 shoes? ....

I wish Babylon 5 was finished downloading.

I want to stay up all night tonight and watch TV. So far the only movie I'm going to watch is HHGTTG, and that will get me until midnight. I'm contemplating burning Battlestar Galactica to DVD, but that's kind of a downer.
I don't have anything funny on my comp. =/
