It's better than the E3C and only $75. Plus it doesn't have the over-the-ear wire shit.
EC2's are cheaper.... But they seem a better design. And the guy who wrote the review for them on amazon live 30 minutes away from me....

When i met a man with seven wives
Each wife had a sack
Each sack had 7 cats

It's one of those, They weren't going to st. ives, they were going the other direction.
I got one of those in like 3rd grade.
Solved the math, than heard the answer and slit my wrists.

Sync0pation 11-26-2006 04:50 PM

Yep, pretty much beat boxing. Don't have to be a wiz at it but its basically the concept of beat boxing or singing the rhythm or line.

New Breed with....wait for it....Gary Chesters lost interview on CD came in the post the other day! Oh yeah, praise me bitches.

Haha, I haven't actually started it yet. I want to finish Art of Bop Drumming first!

No idea how american currency works.

And phil, the maths works out as 49 cats, and 8 people are going to wherever, but only one is going to st ives, and that's you.

Just out of interest, why would you wanna go to st ives. It's a dump...

Sync0pation 11-26-2006 05:04 PM

O ok thanks

Apparently it takes people 10 years to finish.
Right now I have

Advanced Funk Studies
Johny Rabb's Drum and Bass
New Breed
stuff my drum teacher gave me (right now from Gadd book)

So I'm thinking I'm going to practice singles, doubles, rudiments, singles around the kit, and stick control everyday. Then for the rest of the practice I'm going to alternate between those four things (4 days/cycle)

get a cat and a dog of the same size and stick them in a room together.

see which one is more dominant. (it would oviously be the cat, it would kik the dogs ***) although sayin this i do like dogs aswell

Its probably not finishable really. Remember you can do it the way its written then vary it, apply it on a different part of the kit etc. The limitations are your imagination! I don't like having too much to practice from. I feel that I'd get too stuck into one book and end up leaving the other. I don't wanna end up with loadsa unfinished books lying around me really!

EDIT: unfinished in the sense of not having played them the way they're written from start to finish.

Tony R Jr the second!!!!
:D LMAO

Janeway 11-26-2006 05:15 PM

I'm going to get the leftover can of kerosene in the garage.

Then I'm going to sneak over to my neighbors, climb up on their roof, and douse their roof, trees, and house in it. Then, I'm going to wait for that asshole to run his woodstove the next day, and I'm going to watch that mother fucker burn.

This dickhole has been there for two years, and his woodstove/chimney has been fucked up the whole time. But he refuses to fucking fix it. It's like he's burning massive piles of shitty wood in his front yard. My whole house stinks like smoke because of him.

Yeah I know what your saying, I have significant progress in all the books, but I'm restarting them over again to play them all perfectly. Before I just played the grooves for a bit, then go on to the next as if it was "done." No. This time around I am going to make sure I have each groove perfectly played, in my memory, and am able to improv around it before I move on.

My first cat kicked the shit out of the dog, which was a fair size boxer dog and the cat wasnt big.
