Whats wrong with it?
|
There is a dark blotch on the interior of the screen and I have no idea how it got there, but now when I turn on the iPod the interface is f'ucked. It almost looks as though the interior of the screen is cracked.
|
Hm..I'd take it to the Apple store.
|
I haven't had my iPod functioning in like two weeks because I've been to busy to inquire about it. If I can't get it fixed or replaced, then I will be screwed.
|
I need to get mine fixed bacause I only get sound out of one earphone (I've tried different sets).
But I've filled mine up by quite a distance so maybe I should get a new one, what's the biggest these days? |
60gb?
|
i think they're up to 80 now actually
|
That's the size of my hard drive, sheesh.
|
It wouldn't take me too long to fill 80 gigs the way i'm going.
|
really!? im going on 20, but still 4 times that would take quite a long time....
|
I have around 15. I just deleated a lot of music though.
and the biggest is 80, they don't make the 60's anymore, or at least I don't think they do. |
well i'm on only about 40gigs now, but the rate of my downloading has been phenomenal this year and most of that was collected since moving to uni in september.
|
Oh, I have an idea. How about you take a break and listen to some of the music you download?!
|
123
|
Why?
There's so much music out there for me to try why should I stop collecting it while I can. It's not like i'm not listening to new music, I am every day, but it's a matter of prioritising which stuff I want to hear first and eventually I'll get around to the other stuff. Sometimes I take a break for a couple of weeks and ease of the downloads to absorb some stuff, but in the main I don't see any reason to ease off the downloads. |
I was half-kidding.
But I also realised that I was accumilating a lot of music, and I wasn't listening to music as intently as I used to. As soon as I cut back on downloading just a little bit, I began to notice how awesome a lot of the albums I got were and decided that I listen to music "better" when not obtaining as much. |
yeah but youre also a faggot
|
perhaps the largest of them all
i bought a new pair of kicks today |
Fresh 2 deff
I deleted a lot of music because I had aqquired a lot that I didnt even really like. |
I need some new vans.

yeah me too mine have holes in the toes but i hate them when theyre new so im still in denial |
I have an 80. This is late but if theres like an ink blot on the screen it means the screen is broke, hope you got insurance on that puppy.
|
I'd rather have a few bands that I really like and a small collection of music than a big collection of music I haven't listened to. But that's just me.
|
i have a 60 gig and i have 51.82 gigs of music so i have to really start deleting stuff and regulating intake.
|
too bad it is all crappy indie crapola crap.
|
lol YEAH
|
I have an 80 gigabyte iPod. If my old 30 gigabyte iPod weren't dead, I could fill both.
|
I just carry a boom box on my shoulder blasting Coolio

See, I just don't understand how you could possibly listen to this much music. |
Hmm that's lots of music, and of course you wouldn't listen to it all that reguarly, but it's great to have that much available to you and listening to so much music makes you appreciate how special the really special albums actually are.

I don't really consider the stuff I download part of my collection. I download often because I keep hearing about awesome stuff, and then I feel urged to check it out. If I love it, I buy it. I like to own the physical cd. |

I just checked the warranty on the Apple site, and mine is probably out. F'uuuuuuck. |
i think whats sweet about having a lot of music is that playing it on shuffle becomes like a radio station that doesnt suck.
honestly a lot of times i'll hear something and be like dannnggg what is this??? because i'll download an album and never get around to listening to the whole thing and rediscover stuff through shuffle. thats also how i keep things in check, like if something crappy comes up on shuffle i'll just delete it and problem solved. |
I'm going to try that, I never have my music on shuffle.
|
i always turn my iPod on shuffle when i'm drivin (got a tape deck and headphone jack converter so no expensive equipment needed to play it  )
but i keep the actual iPod (2 gig nano i cant fit all my favorite songz on it :() in my lap to skip songs i dont want to hear at the time, or adjust the volume since i can never get all the songs at the same volume, even with iTunes' adjuster thingy |
Why not?
I have like 25gb of music, which includes all of my cds. I know I don't listen to all of that. My friend wants me to go see Saosin with her. If thinking of going on the condition that she comes to Converge or Sunn O))) or Deerhoof with me. |
I just bought a tortoise a few days ago. It's one year old and really small but it's so cool. I have named it Humphrey.
Yeah i'm sad. |
