I've lost faith in this world cup :upset:

Sup French v Germany final?

unplugged89 07-02-2006 02:56 PM

*goes back to new account*

I want portugal to win now, just so that I'm safe in the knowledge england lost to the eventual winners. They have thier best player back on the pitch next game, they should do good.

England should have won that match. We were down out three best players.

GreyHam 07-02-2006 03:02 PM

oooh dont get me started. footballs not a mans game anymore, theyre all whiney little kids. its disgraceful. if i were ref id book anyone that tried to influence my decision
but meh, we lost. we wudnt have won anyway so whatever

as for brazil, i dunno what happened there, but the french were awesome.

unplugged89 07-02-2006 03:08 PM

rooney shouldn't have been sent off, he stepped and that little portuguese kid got in the way.

The winning penalty was a cheat, he did that thing where you run up to the ball, stop, then carry on and shoot, and for that he's a national hero.

ah well, I can comfortably slip back into not giving two sh*ts about football for the next four years. Next world cup I'll be watching it in the student bar in cambridge :)

Captain Kirk 07-02-2006 03:21 PM

I think it is necessary to steal a life guard or two from the pool also. You never know when you'll need mouth to mouth

Ok my dream wasn't to complex. It was this thread, and I was watching Josh and a noob who's post count was forever at 4 discuss RPGs. Josh figured out a way to merge the space for his name and his avatar. It became a giant bright yellow block with his name written in fancy orange writing and it moved every so often

AG 07-02-2006 04:08 PM

Heh, you guys got an extra day out of the thread because I was tired and forgetfull last night.

How has everyones weekends been? I saw The Omen earlier on with my cousin, s'alright film.

Ezekiel 07-02-2006 04:09 PM

Extra day?

why, is this getting closed?

(and, if so, is it being re-started?)

I've been pretty ill in all fairness.
Had to go to town though to sort out my bank cards.
Just been playin with the new Tele mostly. Hows yours comming along?

Just found out my mum lent my camera to my 12year old cousin to take take to school, while in Canada. Its in one piece thankfully but its the principal of the matter.

EDIT: Also looks like my band will finally be practicing again soon, been waiting to crank that little Mesa up past 2 and 3 for so long now.

AG 07-02-2006 04:17 PM

My weekend has been good really.

I bought Ferris Beullers Day Off for like £3.47 or something silly and watched it tonight.

David_Gilmour 07-02-2006 04:24 PM

I've been down the beach everyday this weekend, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
If you ever get the chance then try skimboarding

Abu-Abu 07-02-2006 04:24 PM

What do you guys think of this neck?
http://cgi.ebay.com/IBANEZ-STYLE-NECK-NEW-24-FRET-SHARKFIN-INLAYS_W0QQitemZ230003025910QQihZ013QQcategoryZ41423QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
Or should I just go with a real Ibanez neck? I love the feel of the Wizard II's, but this is a lot cheaper, and is Ibanez style. Anyone by any chance played one? (I doubt it)

David_Gilmour 07-02-2006 04:26 PM

I would go for the Wizard II, but that neck looks alright, how much cheaper is that neck compared to the Wizard?

overturned 07-02-2006 04:27 PM

Abu-Abu 07-02-2006 04:27 PM

On eBay I see a $80 one, not met it's reserve, and a few ~$150 BINs.

Captain Kirk 07-02-2006 04:42 PM

It'd need a nut though

Country Doctor 07-02-2006 04:49 PM

Hello. :thumb:

I'm siding towards getting an LTD guitar of some sort soon, but I'll be getting it from America, and won't have a guitar for a few weeks. I don't mind the break because it'll probably be a bit more exciting for the wait and that, and I'll probably have more fun with the guitar than I am now.

It's been an incredibly long and hot day today as well.

AG 07-02-2006 04:49 PM

Speaking of nuts, I bought a graphite nut for my project tele, £1.50.

Needs the string guides re-doing mind.

Captain Kirk 07-02-2006 05:19 PM

Man it got to 101 in the shade here today

Hella hot

Ezekiel 07-02-2006 05:36 PM

On the storm - strange thing is, I decided to record the thunderstorm. Not quite sure why, but it was kinda fun :D

Country Doctor 07-02-2006 05:41 PM

I've been to Bristol. The zoo and Asda, cos the motorway was busy :upset:
I've been to Bristol. The zoo and Asda, cos the motorway was busy :upset:
All zoos and all asdas are in bristol.

Neighbours is shot in Bristol.

The Empire State towers over Bristol, next to the sears tower, also in Bristol.

The Louvre is just around the corner from the Musee d'Orsay in Bristol.

MX HQ is in Bristol.

Methinks you get my point.

Abu-Abu 07-02-2006 05:59 PM

When blocking your tremelo I don't lock it anymore, or do I?
Can you explain the process and such for me?

I think that's what I'm going to do with my project one, just block the tremelo so I can use my S320 for standard tuning and for the tremelo, and the RGproject for my alternate tunings and backups.

Ezekiel 07-02-2006 06:00 PM

Don't lock it. Whenever you lock the nut, the tuning always shifts.

Still, I guess you could lock it if the fine tuners still operated fine.

Abu-Abu 07-02-2006 06:05 PM

Well yeah, I don't see why I would, considering it would be my guitar that I could change tunings on, I was just curious a bit on what I'm supposed to do.

So I just put something under the bridge, and unlock the nut, and that's all?

Nick 07-02-2006 06:09 PM

sup guys my internet's been down all day

but I'm here to say bye for now cause tomorrow I leave for a month's worth of intensive CITing at my summer camp

so you won't be hearing from me
