I don't even know, I'd say leave her, but I don't know the whole situation, and what not, but yeah I suck at advice in relationships, so listen to Vince :chug:

And put on some PTW, make you feel better...

yourstruly 04-14-2006 07:46 PM
Yeah, for sure..But then I'll get the impression she's not in the mood for talking so I'll just shut up..And she'll go, "Talk! Your more annoying when you don't talk than when you do," so I have no idea..?
I was sort in a similiar situation with my ex girlfriend, except she invited me to a party and kissed me, so yeah. I'd say just stay friends and see what happens.

Permanent Solution 04-14-2006 07:48 PM
V: yeah, I know. It's just, nothing is ever like that for me. I wish I could feel differently about stuff but it takes ages for my feelings to change where as they change their ****ing mind every few minutes.

Stew: if she's really aas good of a friend as you say, then you shouldn't have to worry about losing her. One of my friends has known that I've liked her on and off for years, even though she's hadboyfriends and stuff. She doesn't mind, it's kind of nice, as long as you can control your feelings anyways.
Well you're not a girl :) I tend to cling to not-changing too, but I realize how fast they change and being adaptable is key to success not only in relationships but life in general, so it's worth working on it.

Eh..that's not at all true. If you tell a girl you have feelings for her she doesn't reciprocate she'll feel awkward and guilty and as a result will often try to ignore you so as to not feel that way. You can be best friends, but adding that sort of awkwardness can still destroy it. It all depends on the girl.

Surtr 04-14-2006 07:50 PM

So the survey says...Find out for yourself? lol

Thats cool anyways..Maybe having no friends will give me time to study all the time and I'll get mad *** grades and my parents will actually want to see my report card..Which is going to be horrible when I get it in a week or so..

cobert 04-14-2006 07:54 PM

To make everyone happy, i'd like to point out what jon said: Ice-T has a hardcore band.

I allready knew this though, im just that underground.

Well no one an find out for you :p

It comes down to a situation by situation basis so just do what you feel is right and cross your fingers.

You'd be suprised how girl-like I actually am :-\

I don't adapt well to anything.

Meh. In all cases I've had like that it's been how I described it. Maybe I just have really understanding friends.

Surtr 04-14-2006 08:03 PM

Am I complete idiot if my heart skips a beat when this girl says "Hey" to me on Msn? Like she was set to away, so I wasn't expecting her to say anything..But as soon as I saw it I was all like..*Heart skips beat*..

Not at all. Ask Rissa how girly I am.

Work on that.

Eh, I speak from what I've seen in many relationships. Including my own experiences. But I have no doubt some girls aren't that lame.

Actually yeah, we seem to have a lot in common in aspects like that. Aside from yours being generally more serious due to the age difference.

I don't have much of a choice. :-\

Yeah, too bad those girls are the ones that are just my friends though.

Stew: You are reading wayyyyyyyyyyyyy too much into that.

Notice my emphasis with the too many Y's

BridgeToSolace 04-14-2006 08:20 PM
Hey, I'm not that abnormal ok? :-\
It was an anology that was exaggerated for comic effect. Read it for the message, not the literal meaning.

Which raises the question: "What's to much?"

I have something in common with every neurotic person ever as I seemingly have a little bit of like every neurosis :-\ On the plus side crazy people are more interesting and they tend to trust you when they realize you're like them so eh.

Sure you do, condition yourself. Next time something really gets at you, instead of freaking out, stop, think, and realize you can deal with it, and it's not worth freaking out (at least in most cases). Eventually it will become sub-concious habit.

Better that than not around at all.

Jon: No I got it. Just because I do something doesn't mean it's normal. I was comically playing back :)

If you use the word "too" pre-empting an adjective, it means too much.

form 04-14-2006 08:24 PM

So, uhh, I'm finally getting blinds for my room tomorrow

cobert 04-14-2006 08:26 PM

This thread is getting way to 'omg i hav butterflies in my stumik teehee'.

I gave up on trying to get chicks a long time ago. If you go looking to get a girl, you get her because you think she fits this image you have of what you want, and she never truly is. If a girl goes looking for you, then that's the only way to tell if she truly likes you.

Ack.

Permanent Solution 04-14-2006 08:26 PM

But how will I watch you get dressed in the morning now? :(

<_<

/creepy

Cob: Not entirely true. But mostly. Sometimes you have to take the risk though. It's better to do it with girls you don't know though. Once you're friends it's hard.

That is quite true actually. Having stuff in common makes it way easier to talk about stuff. And I'm extremely neurotic about everything. Although it seems to be kind of common among people I talk to. Maybe it's a musician thing.

I don't really freak out. I tend to refrain from freaking out due to not wanting to hurt the other person's feelings. (Yeah, after all that i still don't want to hurt her feelings :-\) On the internet though I tend to get a lot more angry so..

Very true.

COB: That's so true.. It's easy to know it, but hard to stop trying to chase girls. Except sometimes they think if you're not off chasing them that you don't have any interest.

It is to a degre, not because you're a musician, but I'm sure there are correlations with what draws you to music and some types of neuroticism. Just think about all the crazy musicians over time. Oddly, I've found neuroticism is not as commonly attributable to intelligent people as I once thought. I don't know many crazy geniuses, unless they are also musicians, oddly.

Translation: I bottle up. That's bad, don't do that. Sometimes you need to just speak your mind, whether it's good or bad. Some could say my emails to people were me freaking out, though in a positive way.

Not chasing was always easy for me, I was too unconfident to chase because I knew I was pre-destined to fail. I guess I was "lucky" in that aspect.

BBS, gonna go buy some food for the week.

While were on neurosis: Someone asked me what i thoguth of that crappy blue october band thats all over the radio and before i said anything, this a'sshole kid (old guitarist) mocked me and said 'Oh, theyre terrible', and i got mad and semi-flipped out to myself because i guess im not allowed to have a negative opinion on anything, and some girl called me the most angst filled person she knows.
