Nah, there still hasn't been anything confirmed about that. He did say they're half way down with the album and that it should be out by May.
|
It's not going to be a double album
|
Lame. Anyways I'm thinking of buying this bass:
http://www.schecterguitars.com/spec.asp?id=104 I know I should ask in the bass forum, but they'll just tell me to buy a Precision or a Warwick. Anyone had any experience of these? |
Man, I forgot how good This Adultery Is Ripe is. It absolutely lays waste to everything else they've done.
This Adultery Is Ripe is definetly way better than their other stuff. From the complete three albums I've heard it goes like this: This Adultery Is Ripe > Crimes > Burn Piano Island Burn. I need to see them again. |
I'm not a fan of Schecters.

Nah, Crimes just flat out sucks. Just listen to this Adultery Is Ripe and forget they even put out other stuff. |
saw wow, owls the day before yesterday and i was kinda dissapointed. The sound was terrible (so loud that everything just sounded like very loud static...) and maby because of that, i started to get a bit bored by them. The ultra dolphins who played before them were pretty awesome though.

i tried so hard to get into waiting..but i never could.
the only song on there i really love is streaks in the sky. |

For basses I would also recommend an Ernie Ball bass. |
You're wrong, Ibanez is the way to go.
|
Uhhhhh no. PRS. The Santana SE has the tone of a 1000 dollar guitar and it's only 500.
PRS make basses? |
Nah, Crimes just flat out sucks. Just listen to this Adultery Is Ripe and forget they even put out other stuff.
I thought you hated everything The Blood Brothers put out... |
Apart from the first two, and the last track, "This Adultry Is Ripe" isn't very good at all.
|
Whatever floats your boat. Crimes and Burn Piano get old way fast though. TAIR never does.
|
So I got the Orchid / The Red Scare split 7" today and it owns, little short though.
|
I don't get what the big fuss over Orchid is.

I love you. |
So Bright Calm Blue's "A Direct Approach For Casual Conversation" is very good actually. I recommend it. The bassist has an amazing voice.

BPIB does get old after a while. Do you like any of the member's side projects like Neon Blonde and/or Head Wound City? |
Neon Blonde is OK, but I can't listen to the album all the way through. His voice just becomes too much.
|

His voice is the best part man. |
I love Neon Blonde. The album is amazing. Chandeliers And Vines reminds me of Elton John for some reason.
|
Can anyone recommend me some stuff that is similiar to Hassan I Sabbah or Page 99?
I'd appreciate it very much :D And one more thing, does Hassan I Sabbah only have one CD? |
I was just going to ask that.
I really like Hassan. I thought they only released splits though |

Neon Blonde is okay. It just sounds like the slower songs on Crimes. Head Wound City is absolutely terrible. It's just an excuse for them to make ****ty music because they know that scene kids will freak out over it because "omfg it's the Blood Brothers and The Locust!" With that line-up I expect so much more. I never got around to checking out Waxwing or Soiled Doves, I might look into that. |
why do most people on this site have to hate on bands like TBS and Underoath and bands like that? don't get me wrong, i like Armor For Sleep and Millencolin and the like. but i just don't get why you have to be so exclusive with your music choices. broaden your listening spectrum or something and stop acting like you know evrything: post-emo indie post-punk grunge pre-screamo rock...wtf???
|
This is an Emo/Hardcore sub-forum. We talk about those genres of music. TBS and Underoath aren't emo or harcore. Go into the Jazz forum and ask them if they dig Hatebreed and you'd get a similar response to the one you get here.
Oh and my Hard drive has something like 25 days worth of music on it, my musical horizons do not need broadening. |

I've noticed that some kids freak out over Head Wound City just because the line-up. Soiled Doves resembles Neon Blonde. |
