Yesterday I was getting gas, this black dude was filling up gas on the other side of the pump. When he was done he went in, payed, came back out and got in his car. When he opened his door the distinct aroma of KFC chicken and Black and Mild's hit me like freight train.

Very tempted to go get some KFC after that.

Blue_Moon 03-25-2010 11:06 AM

showed that picture to a friend yesterday

he wanted kfc afterwards

Don't worry, I'm sure you'll be feeling the same way when you're 34.

AG 03-25-2010 01:44 PM

It's possibly the use of the term 'nig nog'. This isn't /b/ you know.

Blue_Moon 03-25-2010 01:49 PM

what about inventing the word "nognig" instead

AG 03-25-2010 02:44 PM

inverting =/= inventing

Blue_Moon 03-25-2010 02:59 PM

lets all celebrate with some nogegg

:chug:

Any one ever replaced the machine heads on the guitar? I was thinking about getting some half decent ones on my GRX40. Once I give up on/get the Mesa/Boogie amp I was looking at I figured I could put like $200 into it and make it a half decent guitar. New machine heads, at least replace the bridge humbucker, get it some Schaller strap locks which seem to be working pretty good on my Talman so far.

Might make it a reasonable guitar. Actually just slapped in some of my old pickups that came stock on my RG1570/570. So now it has an S1/S1/V8 pickup selection.

I digress though, measured the holes for the tuning pegs and such. The headstock is just under 3/4 inch thick, the current tuners are 1/4" tuners with a 10mm bushing. I'm not going to spend a fortune on them, but was looking at Grovers for a semi-cheap option:
http://www.stewmac.com/shop/Tuners/Guitar,_solid_peghead_tuners/Grover_Tuners/Grover_Midsize_Rotomatics_6-In-Line.html?tab=Specs#details

My logic says they'd fit. Only problem I see, which is what I seem to find in all of them, is that I'll have to drill new holes for the screws which attach the machine head to the headstock.

Need to tweak my resume and apply for another job, going to play Battlefield: Bad Company 2, and guitar.

That kind of sums up my life right about now. Though yesterday I spent 5 or so hours cleaning my mother's GMC Envoy XL inside and out. The day prior spent about 3 on her Dodge Durango as it didn't need to be vacuumed. Might wash my 4Runner tonight, I did wash it about a week ago. It has just rained a lot so it got dirty. :upset:
