my first year apprenticeship wages were shit but somehow I still manage to put away $100 a week to save with whilst living as frugally as possible
now i've gone up to my second it's increased by $40 or so, which doesn't seem like much but I really do appreciate having it there |
yeah to show his appreciation to me my boss recently gave me a raise to $10 an hour which is damn nice for a part-time job
my parents provide rent, food, etc. and i go to school on a scholarship, so i just have to pay for my own expenses (going out/drinking/whatever) |
$10 an hour is below minimum wage here.

I was paying off my $9000 motorbike which really tied me up for a bit but my dad and his wife decided to just give it to me

but the min is across the province im pretty sure i dont think theres a minimum wage below $9 in canada edit: nope im wrong BC has $8 min wage (lowest in country) probably because its full of chinamen and albertas is 8.80 |

i haven't studied economics since my senior year of high school so i could be completely wrong, i'm just speculating
