I consider Dre/NWA/Snoop mainstream, although most people don't even know who NWA is. (even a lot of black kids in our school) Dre isn't as mainstream as Snoop, but Snoops had a lot of recognition on the radio. Although he'll never be able to top "Gin and Juice".

With so much drama in the LBC, it's kinda hard being Snoop D-O-double G

That would always happen to me when we played volleyball in gym. I'm pretty small and quick, so I'd wait at the back, and kind of wait for a ball to come because people wouldn't want to play so they'd just stand around and talk, and right behind was them was the perfect place to snatch a ball. I'd get it and run up to the front and launch it at someone. People would catch on and peg me when I ran up, and I got hit in the face a lot. And I wear glasses.

:lol: I'm not that great at volleyball I can bumb and volley it fairly good..and despite my size I'm terrible at smashing/blocking the damn ball. American football is my sport..although I'd say I have just as much fun being terrible at Football too.

I'm gonna talk to athletic director and see if we can't get a male volleyball team going in the spring. We have some pretty tall kids that are willing to completely humiliate themselves in the sport, so I think it would be a good time.

I'm playin' some rugby this spring. I'm fairly skinny so you'd figure I'd snap in half if I ever got hit..but I'm the opposite..if you hit me I get right back up and go again :p I love playing QB in American Football, I'm awesome at taking off and scrambling up the field, and as soon as I get a guy on me I just keep pushing through him till I have at least 4+ people on me. To bad my school doesn't have an American Football team :(

Our current QB for Freshman and will be playing JV next year is amazing at scrambling. Plus he has an awesome arm... I can't wait 'til he plays Varsity in two years.

Back Yard Football is really fun, even though I suck. I trip over my own shoes and get laid out by big people...

Ahhhh there is this campground about an hour away from my house and they have this dodgeball like gym and so many people play.

My school for some reason started a dodgeball league... I didn't join, I'm too freaking sweet. Four square is fun as hell if you're playing with crazy friends.

We played "Hardcore Four Square" in PE last year when the teacher was lazy and told us to do whatever we wanted. We had to get "umperees" and everything, that's how hardcore we were. I must say I got lucky with timing and won 2 out of the 3 days we played. I think that was the best 3 days of PE I've ever had.

I love playing dodgeball and volleyball. Im dodgeball last year we always played the grade 12 (I was in grade 9 last year). So, whenever we hit one of them in the face (by accident or not) they would have a fit a freak out and chase us around the gym. Oh some good times beating the grade 12s.

I play a bit of volleyball too. Our school doesn't have a team or i would probably be playing for it. I tried out for the rep team, but I didn't make it. After I saw the coaches, I kinda gave up and didn't want to be on the rep team.

I also play rep baseball:p. I have to actually try-out next year though, and it's a team of 16, 17 & 18 year olds.

On the plus side, it wasn't terrible. On the minus side...the drummer had the biggest set of any of the bands tonight, and was not very creative with it (I mean this was an orgasmic kit, but subpar drumming), the little kids in the pit trying to act cool and just ending up hitting me in the kidney due to height differences, and the singer telling the people to mosh. People say this band isn't Metalcore, but I can point out the similarites to Hardcore right here and now: only Hardcore bands are stupid and boring enough the singer has to ask the crowd to mosh. Repeatedly. The highlight of their show was when the frontman was harrassing some decked out metalhead on the bars and he asked the metalhead what made him more Metal than everyone else there including the band, and though the answer wasn't audible where I was, it was clearly something about "girl pants" because the response was "Stop looking at my crotch man, what are you emo? Lots of Metal bands wore tight pants: Metallica, Megadeth, Iron Maiden. Do you hate them too? No, the correct answer was Manowar, sorry, you lose." Best owning I've heard in a long time. And he mentioned Manowar, props to him for that. After that I think the more "troo" metlheads got into the show.

Children of Bodom:
Very good show. Like the previous bands they had a recorded instrumental intro, but their transition into their actual songs was the smoothest of the three. They played a great set list with very little from their new album which was great since I've yet to hear the new album. The performance was also punctuated by a drum solo, guitar/keyboard duel, a keyboard solo, and another guitar solo (and I mean solo as in the only instrument). On top of that there were several jam session type moments. The band has really great chemistry. The drum solo was good, though not mind-boggling, but the keyboard/guitar solo was phenomenal. The keyboardist is very, very good, and Alexi is a great guitarist especially for also being the vocalist. The solos also showcased a lot of Classical influence which was really cool because it's hard to catch that in the Metal context of the songs. The band was always moving and almost always right at the crowd's edge too. Very quality performance. The pit (which I swore to avoid but failed to anyways) was totally insane and immense, at least 20 feet deep. After their encore the lights came up and such and the Beastie Boys' "Fight for your Right" started playing, and the band was singing along to it with the crowd post-performance, it was neat just because it was so spontaneous.

I play hardcore four square with my friends. Where as you mess up and you're in a 10 minute line. You gotta be freaking sweet and pull it around behind your back and hit the person's feet.
