I'd pick hockey over basketball though. You can sort of see the skill in hockey players (when they arent kicking the crap out of each other), but basketball players seem so similar to me, which is why I dont get people who would gladly bend over for LeBron James or whatever his name is

Surtr 08-21-2007 09:30 PM

I agree with you there.

Hockey isn't actually half bad when they aren't fighting or just basically ruining the game, though most people only watch it just for that.

And basketball is VERY bland. In my opinion, most basketball players aren't much different skill level, or so it seems.

ChodaBoy 08-21-2007 09:45 PM

Fighting is by far the best thing about hockey. Its so great how the players can be trying to decapitate someone else, and the refs give a half-hearted attempt to stop as if they are kids in the playground having an arguement

Surtr 08-21-2007 09:50 PM

Hahaha, I hate it, it ruins the actual skill behind the game.

But anyways, I'm out, Later Adam.

ChodaBoy 08-21-2007 09:57 PM

Im going to stay and watch the Yankees get torn apart :(, byes!

Mexican Bandito 08-22-2007 01:25 AM

So 9 is a bigger number than 4, right?

=(

Dead Star 08-22-2007 04:08 AM

So, the Foo Fighters were immense last night. NIN were a bit bland, I like them but they just seemed to be a wee bit lacking.

Packing for Leeds today, away tomorrow.

:D

Clunge 08-22-2007 04:10 AM

My new address:

Flat 1, Room 5, House 13, Talybont South, Cardiff Uni

.

I is excited.

Kif 08-22-2007 04:44 AM

I slightly fucked up. My friend got us all early passes to Leeds, which apparently meant going today. I thought it meant going on Thursday. Now they are in Leeds and I have to figure out how to get there tomorrow. This is BS. And I owe him £10 for the early pass.

Question:

Where would I buy spray paint?

Like what kind of shop? Someone said hardware shop, but I'm not sure I'm manly enough to go inside.

Stupid local art shop only sells warhammer paint. At six quid a can.

Pastorius 08-22-2007 06:07 AM

Not manly enough to go into a hardware store? Grow a pair!

Surf 08-22-2007 06:15 AM

But its full of hammers and builders and testosterone and opinions.

:(

Whenever I go in there it feels like the pub scene in Withnail and I. Just waiting for some guy to say "ponce"

Pastorius 08-22-2007 06:23 AM

Well avoid the hammers, ignore the builders, find someone who works there and say "Do you have any spray paint mate?"

Maybe wear some jeans. Jeans work. And say mate. Mate works.

Surf 08-22-2007 06:25 AM

These are all good ideas

I'll smoke as well, smoking's gotta help.

Pastorius 08-22-2007 06:30 AM

And punch the first guy you see in the face, that way they'll know you're serious.

Surf 08-22-2007 06:40 AM

And I'll spend at least three minutes scratching my crotch, just to make sure it there.

right I'm ready to go

Kif 08-22-2007 06:48 AM

This better be the best spray paint you ever buy.

Pastorius 08-22-2007 06:49 AM

It should just come out ready formed into paintings and shiz.

I might be coming up on the 7th of september so we shall see what happens :)

I came online to use sainsbury's website for work. What a *hold edges of mouth with fingers* 'pirate ship'. I hate that website >8^[

I get mine from either wilkos or an art shop.

Kif 08-22-2007 07:51 AM

Woohoo, I have a way back to Leeds!

Pastorius 08-22-2007 08:03 AM

Congrats, glad it worked out for you. Would have been so gay if you'd not been able to get there!

And Tesco online shopping is alright.

Kif 08-22-2007 08:10 AM

Hell yeah it is. Although they bag stuff really funnily when you order online.

Pastorius 08-22-2007 08:18 AM

Yeah they bag it by department I think. One time I got a single lighter in a bag of it's own.

Kif 08-22-2007 08:42 AM

Yeah we've had a box of Corn Flakes on it's own with no bag, and with the same order a box of Rice Krispies in a bag. It's so random haha.

Surtr 08-22-2007 09:04 AM

Hey man, the retards have to work somewheres.

So next time you're checking out a Tesco look out back :p

ChodaBoy 08-22-2007 09:06 AM

It could have been worse, they could have put a box of cornflakes in one bag, and just poured the rice crispies into another bag

jamjar602 08-22-2007 04:16 PM

Can you buy alcohol and cigarettes from Tesco Online? it would make my lazy lifestyle soooo much easier

Pastorius 08-22-2007 04:20 PM

Yup, you can get some pretty decent deals as well. Well, I dunno about cigs, I don't smoke them. But booze you definitely can, I've done it before.

Dead Star 08-22-2007 04:20 PM

All packed and ready to go :D

Getting into Glasgow tomorrow will suck, traffic ++

Kif 08-22-2007 04:23 PM

J, we must meet up at Leeds for awesomeness and boozing. Also the people I planned to go with are there already and I doubt I will be able to set my tent up near them since I'm going Friday morning. I might miss Gym Class Heroes and Hellogoodbye. I'm deeply sad about that.

ChodaBoy 08-22-2007 04:37 PM

Oh man that is f'king annoying. Ive been looking for a form from the finance folks for more than an hour and a half. Upstairs and downstairs, I sit back down and find it next to my computer.
