hardcore dancing is just plain gay. I mean whats the point except looking like an idiot?
Actually your right, I mean whats the point in enjoying yourself at a show.

Those indie kids in the 90's had the right idea. Let's fucking Shoegaze ey ?

Or instead of being a judgemental prick and paying attention to what other people are doing at shows, heres an idea why don't you watch the fucking band ?

Prick.

RunAmokRampant 09-07-2008 05:52 AM

I do watch the band. It's the showpony hardcore dancers that don't.

2muchket! 09-07-2008 05:55 AM

And your problem with that is ?

RunAmokRampant 09-07-2008 06:08 AM

I don't have a problem with it, I just think it looks stupid.

Pete 09-07-2008 06:28 AM

frankie you just cant justify "throwing down" so you get all defensive, its kewt

yeah, i hate girlymen with dyed black hair flailing their prepubescent limbs about, it is absolutely horrendous

i am probably going to london to see protest the hero, despised icon, whitechapel, unearth, carfnifex and something, i predict there will be lots of tightpants there, oh how i loathe their "dancing"

Yeah am going to see that tour when it comes to Sheffield.

Don't think I'll be throwing down like, I want to enjoy every minute of PTH and Architects.

I might do it for the lulz when Parkway Drive are playing (why they are headlining I don't know).

Pete 09-07-2008 06:34 AM

yeah, i do not get the hierarchy on that tour, are parkway drive and unearth really bigger than DI or PtH or even WC for that matter?

2muchket! 09-07-2008 06:36 AM
yeah, i do not get the hierarchy on that tour, are parkway drive and unearth really bigger than DI or PtH or even WC for that matter?
I wouldnt say so.

In scenester terms as well DI and Whitechapel are quite big so that makes it even more baffling.

Xplisit 09-07-2008 08:37 AM

i'd say unearth is quite a bit more popular than whitechapel and perhaps DI as well. i dunno though, here in Toronto they definitely aren't bigger than PtH.

what? how could you dance to something if you aren't paying attention to it?

Pete 09-07-2008 12:23 PM

uh randomly flailing your arms around in a vain attempt to look more "hardcore" than the next girlpants- and mascara-wearing faggot demands no attention paid to the music

2muchket! 09-07-2008 12:31 PM
uh randomly flailing your arms around in a vain attempt to look more "hardcore" than the next girlpants- and mascara-wearing large bundle of sticks demands no attention paid to the music
IT DOES THO'

It ain't about trying to look 'hardcore' its all about enjoying yourself son.

Pete 09-07-2008 12:33 PM

yeah

enjoying looking mad hardcore*

it has about as much to do with the music as the tight pants and the guyliner does. its all part of the mad cool bro hxc br00tal image, i think its lame

*retarded

2muchket! 09-07-2008 12:43 PM

The brocore kids are wiggers tho'

keyboardxmosh 09-07-2008 12:44 PM

you guys should probably try to start fights with kids you dont know because they dance!

Pete 09-07-2008 12:46 PM

i dont get why "scene" guys want to prove their masculinity by fighting in the pit

here's a mad radical idea, bro

stop wearing girls clothes and make-up, and no one will doubt your gender

gee, its not rocket science

PIT UNITY UNITE BROTHERHOOD FOR LIFE

keyboardxmosh 09-07-2008 12:47 PM

hahaha

but seriously, im looking forward to circle pitting with kings tonight

Pete 09-07-2008 12:51 PM

circle pits are mad fun, but theyre hard to start up unless the venue is huuuge
yeah, i do not get the hierarchy on that tour, are parkway drive and unearth really bigger than DI or PtH or even WC for that matter?
overseas, yes

over here, they're about the same

RunAmokRampant 09-07-2008 03:48 PM
what? how could you dance to something if you aren't paying attention to it?
haha if you want to call it dancing lol. I doubt many hardcore 'dancers' really give a damn if they 'dance' in time to the song or whatever. The music is just an excuse to flail about like landed fish.

2muchket! 09-07-2008 04:26 PM
overseas, yes

That's quite bad tbh.

EDIT: I also suspect pete hates these gender bender scene kids becuase he tried to hit on one accidentally.
what? how could you dance to something if you aren't paying attention to it?
you don't need to pay attention to move to a slow 4/4 breakdown

beans 09-07-2008 05:09 PM

hella slow most of the time

Pebster49 09-07-2008 07:47 PM

Unearth's last album got 35th in the Billboard 200 Charts thats really good, while PTH's Fortress got 95th...so Im going to have to say in the US Unearth has a bigger fan base.

you can thank hot topic for that

botb 09-07-2008 08:21 PM

I love hot topic for actually being a store that regards music very highly, though half of it is really shitty, some of the stuff in there is good. and hot girls usually work there too... =]

ekajsk8er 09-07-2008 08:21 PM

and my local scene contains hardly anyone who wears girlpants anymore, it's all about baggy gym shorts and a sweatshirt+fitted nowadays.

adb 09-07-2008 08:21 PM

I don't like either band but can definitely stomach Unearth more than PtH

The chicks at Hot Topic are usually fat and scene

gothopatomus's work at my hot topic :-(

botb 09-07-2008 08:23 PM
...
most stores like that end up being gay and not music based. and hot topic actually sells legit decent music. and yes, a lot of it is gay, but there is some legit decent stuff in there.

Tyler 09-07-2008 08:28 PM

legit decent

EINSIEG 09-07-2008 08:30 PM

yeah dude hot topic is good for quality nice music

Tyler 09-07-2008 08:34 PM

in truth we dont have hot topic here so i miss out out all the legit decent music

EINSIEG 09-07-2008 08:35 PM

that's too bad, Cradle of Filth got a new album coming out soon :(

botb 09-07-2008 08:40 PM
yeah dude hot topic is good for quality nice music
way to completely ignore how i said that about half of it is awful. probably more than half actually.
in truth we dont have hot topic here so i miss out out all the legit decent music
beans 09-07-2008 09:05 PM
