I like his shiny jag <_<

So, I need to find a box that will fit my Ibanez STILL

BenJammin 10-13-2006 11:08 PM
Yeah, the one John had in the Jesus spread in Guitar World a few issues back. That is one sexy guitar. I'd like to know that guitar's story, it's probably very interesting. Who was it's first owner, what happened to it, to whom was it traded, that kind of stuff.
Yeah, I dunno. It's one of my favorite guitars ever, though.

Aerodyne 10-13-2006 11:08 PM

Yes! New page. Howdy Jody. Oh, I found a way to remove dents from the wood on natural finish basses on the Warwick site. Lemme go dig for it. *runs to dig

Aerodyne 10-13-2006 11:10 PM

Here ya go Jody.

My fretless wear and tears would be so much sexier if they were in a sunburst.

Its ok though, because I think I found my voice...

Aerodyne 10-13-2006 11:13 PM

I ordered some new strings this week. D'Addario Heavy Half-Wounds 55-110. They're going to be beastly. :D

Jody LeCompte 10-13-2006 11:15 PM

I need to invest in some new strngs.

I have some 6 month old d'addarios on the ibanez and some year old earnie balls on the fender

/is on month 19 of his Elixirs

Jody LeCompte 10-13-2006 11:20 PM

Elixers just feel nasty...

HELLonWHEELS 10-13-2006 11:20 PM

I think im on my 4th month with my Red Devils. I changed them to Dean Markley Blues Steels two weeks ago and i hated the sound so i put the red devils back on. Well I think I'm going to the guitar shop next week and buy new strings. I also need acoustic guitar strings.

What do you guys think of Vic's sig Fodera set?

HELLonWHEELS 10-13-2006 11:22 PM
Elixers just feel nasty...
+1

they always felt greasy to me and the string weren't very versatlie. They had a good finger style sound but slap sounded like crap.

Jody LeCompte 10-13-2006 11:24 PM

I'm pretty much stuck in my way as far as acoustic strings, Martin mediums.

I still need to try out some strings and figure out what my preferences may be. I have to get my ibanez shipped to CA first though.

HELLonWHEELS 10-13-2006 11:27 PM

Thats the thing with the coated DR's, they aren't very rough so they aren't tough on your fingers. The fingerstyle soundin nice and warm while the slap stil is bright, but not too bright. Plus since the stringa re coated they keep pretty much the same tone for about a month before the tone starts to wear away.

Aerodyne 10-13-2006 11:27 PM

My first bass came standard with Elixirs. After about a year I swapped them out for Rotosound Nickels and they're my roundwound of choice now. I've tried prosteels and slinkies, and I just prefer the rotos.

Jody LeCompte 10-13-2006 11:29 PM

I do want to try some Marcus Miller highbeams...

Aerodyne 10-13-2006 11:34 PM

Those do sound exciting. They will probably be my next set of rounds. Well, those or the lo riders. Wait, you mean the fatbeams, right? Anyway, I want a warwick. :upset:

Aerodyne 10-13-2006 11:45 PM

Well I'm proud of myself. I didn't kill the casual, I killed the entire freaking forum!

Mark of the Beast demo, do the drums sound odd?

HELLonWHEELS 10-14-2006 12:53 AM

hey brad

The Brad 10-14-2006 12:55 AM

Hello, how's it going?

Efrim 10-14-2006 01:04 AM

Hello.
Hello, how's it going?
;)

Rearrange it to fit the situation.

HELLonWHEELS 10-14-2006 01:08 AM

I still haven't finished putting my cab back together. I need to re-wire it exept im not putting the tweeter back in so i hope that doesn't effect anything. Then ill put the grill on my cab should look sweet.

Efrim 10-14-2006 01:09 AM

No. I refuse.

Anyway, my speech went off without a hitch. "Flawless"
But I centered around the Dadaist movement, and L.H.O.O.Q.

The Brad 10-14-2006 01:13 AM

Let's hope you don't make an *** out of yourself and apologize the next day and feel like an even bigger fool when he refuses to accept and unnecessary apology.

....it's a woman.
And I learn from other people's mistakes:p

HELLonWHEELS 10-14-2006 01:14 AM

I don't get it. What happened?

Efrim 10-14-2006 01:17 AM

Brad wrote a flawless analysis on a painting, then he thought his teacher gave him a B, but he actually gave him 100%

The Brad 10-14-2006 01:17 AM

I wrote a paper on a work of art and the teacher said it was "flawless" and I went online to check the grade and thought I got a B, and I called him on it. Turns out I was reading from the wrong column and I got a perfect A, then the previous post happened.

HELLonWHEELS 10-14-2006 01:22 AM

Great job Brad.:thumb: keep up the good work.

BTW- All speakers in place and now wired. Time to screw.

The Brad 10-14-2006 01:24 AM

I know, haha. I asked him if I could get extra credit by answering every question on the midterm (we chose 4 out of the 7 to answer) and he said it wouldn't be fair to the other students and why would I want to because I have such a high grade.
LMAO.

Pretty cool about your cab, did your dad ever decide upon a car?

The Brad 10-14-2006 01:28 AM

I really need to get over my German-styled type obsession.

Efrim 10-14-2006 01:31 AM

I'll say. P.S. I got tired of waiting for you to draw something :thumb: so I drew what is now my avatar. What do you think?

Nope not yet. He said he will choose w=once ocnstruction on our house is finished. It should have been done a couple months ago and it rained today. Damn construction.

BTW- I just and made sure all speakers are wired correctly and they are so now i screw. I'll post picks when I'm done.

The Brad 10-14-2006 01:35 AM

It looks pretty nice, I figured it was the space craft. But I thought it also might be a flower of some sort.
I'll get around to your drawing, probably on a break or something. I don't really have much down time and when I do I try to enjoy it. :x

That's very smart on his behalf because construction always goes over budget.
Yeah it rained here too, but I like it.

Your avatar reminded my of Hockey instantly> It kinda looks the the red wings logo exept blue and white instead of white and red. I deffinatly like it though.

BTW: Cab is now 25% screwed in :)

Don't worry about it, I'm happy with what I have.
