Bah, everyone should just get Trillian, I use that for all my friends in America who use AIM and everyone else who uses MSN. Makes things much easier, uses yahoo and stuff too, doesnt crap out and give you pop ups and stuff like MSN either.

I really like inhuman rampage. Although i have no other albums by them (:p ) I do have a ton of random mp3's from sonic firestorm. I guess i'll just have to get SF to see what the big fuss was about.

I prefer [I]Sonic Firestorm[/I] to [I]Inhuman Rampage[/I], but depending on my mood, I might put [I]Valley Of The Damned[/I] at either the top or the bottom.

My favourite Stratovarius song is Fantasia...it's epic as hell.
Reminds me alot of Halloween by Helloween.

I've never listened to Sonic Firestorm all in one sitting either, its hard to do with every song is 10 minutes long and you change it halfway through. Never heard anything quite like Dragonforce in my friends truck with his subs and huge speakers, was amazing.

Only song I really like on Inhuman Rampage is Body Breakdown, that slap bass is better then porn.

It's not because the songs are too long...The first tiem I buy an album, I listen to it all, but with that album, I was tired and it was late at night so I fell asleep half way through and listened to what I had missed the next morning. But, after that, I never sat down to listen to it all in one shot :-/

i have listend to all of Dragonforces albums about a million times, i still havnt got VOTD or SF bonus tracks :angry:

i never really liked Stratovarius or rhapsody, when i first starting listening to power metal i was told they were some of the ultimate bands to listen to, but their songs just arent that great (IMO)

Stratovarius, I could understand why some people aren't into them much, even though I like them, but Rhapsody? :( I don't see what there is to hate/dislike about them.

I don't much like Rhapsody either. I bought a CD of theres and I only like a couple songs off of it (Tales from the Emerald Sword Saga) and thats all I've really heard. If I'm missing something by them by just owning and hearing only that CD, I'm open to suggestions, but none of there songs really catch my attention.

NP Sinergy - Shadow Island (Kimberly Goss, Marco Hietala, Alexi Liaho all sing in this song, it rules.)

Tales Of The Emerald Sword Saga is a best of collection, I think...there's not much variation in Rhapsody albums, so you aren't missing much. I personally love them though...

But no Blind Guardian? That's a federal offense.

Pff, you don't like Sinergy. Thats just as bad. I like newer music anyway, Blind Guardian and Rhapsody have an old feeling to them. Although Emerald Sword is a really awesome song. Probably the only one I really like.

Yeah, I'm really enjoying Symphony of Enchanted Lands.

But besides from thrat album, I have Holy Thunderforce and Rain of a Thousand Flames, which are both great.

[I]Rain Of A Thousand Flames[/I] is a must listen before deciding whether or not to love Rhapsody.

Sinergy is like a somewhat more listenable Children of Bodom, but it still has Alexi's annoying style of guitar playing, so it's still not my cup of tea.

Thanks, I'll check it out Riva. Most people tend to love Alexi's guitar playing, I like it, its not my favorite. I like it alot more with Sinergy because of the lighter tone the band has and the extremely easy to hear basslines. I'm not to much of a Bodom fan, to death-metalish for me.

That's Marco for you. I love his bass tone...he makes himself heard, and he actually plays some interesting stuff.

I like Alexi's tone, so Sinergy are good for me.

I listened to Edguy this morning...first time in a while. Vain Opera Glory is such an awsome song.

On Sinergy it has a way softer tone. For Nightwish and Tarot it sounds alot different, more distorted. Either way he rules.
