Talking of computer bits, the new intel ix cores numbering system makes no sense whatsoever.

As far as I've gathered, i5 7xx aren't as good as i5 6xx (aside from one version of the i5 7xx which is much better than i5 7xx and even some i7s), which aren't anywhere near as good as i7 8xx, which are better than i7 9xx....

any relatively new processor will work just fine. performance bottleneck will most likely come from your hard drive rpm's/ram not your processor speed

There's one core that seems to stand out specifically - i5 750 - it's quad core (unlike other i5s) so it's more similar to the i7s, but it's fast as **** and cheap. Doesn't have integrated graphics (as if I'm arsed) and doesn't have hyperthreading (...meh) but looks awesome nonetheless.

Hard drive bottlenecks have always been the case man. Wish I had an SSD :(

Lod, I've been having stabbing pains at the side of my head all day, not migraine style aches, proper "OWW [size=2]S[/size]HIT what was that?". Sometimes they're triggered by movement but sometimes they just randomly happen. I haven't hit my head and I haven't been drinking/taking anything (apart from my usual amitriptyline but I've never had any side effects from it). What gives?

I had this for a few days back when I was still in college. Brutal migraines that would come out of nowhere. I went to the health center and they hooked me up with some pills that cured it. No clue what caused it. Hasn't happened since.
