u can't blame them for not wanting to pass up a chance 2 tour with hawthorne heights
Lulz. |
Sorry for the double post, but saw Protest last night, it was pretty good, but apparently HH wasn't on the tour, it was Abandon All Ships (like that makes it any better? Not that I cared about HH to begin with...). Though at times Rody was like screaming into the mic haha.
Oh, and Tim's bald now - it's kind of odd I think. And they played "Bone Marrow", as well as "Turn Soonest.." - two of my favourite songs. 'Twas a good night indeed, kind of wish I went to the afterparty... |
You should have seen Tim before he ended up bald. He had, like, a handle on his head; shaved the front, and the back, and his beard went over like a loop. It was ****ing weird.
Since you bumped it (don't sweat the double post, they were separated by well over a week), I wrote a post on A Plateful of Our Dead http://sputnikmusic.com/blog/?p=546 |
does this band ever play metal shows or just faggotry metalcore ones
|
they played a metal show last week when i saw them but it was one off.
usually they get stuck on shitty scene tours though |

new material pls

A first, cant remember protest touring with an auto tuner band. Bleegghh
From bands they've toured with before, a tour id like to see: Have Between the buried and me open the show, get everyone there early and the energy going Awilhelmscream kick some *** in the middle spot. Heavy hitting punk rock. Hard enough to appeal to metal crowd, if they can stand rody's vocals this guy's a shoe in on the lighter singing songs. and Protest The Hero headlining If the bands were opting for shorter sets and needed a 4th to open the show I relly enjoyed Fall of Troy back when they did a tour a few years ago with protest, don't own any records but there live show has good energry. Unique vocals, again on the higher nasily end of the scale. |
Pth and BTBAM touring together would be exceptional.

But it will never happen. |
I'd like to have seen the neversaydie! tour architects and pth were on, didn't come anywhere near the north east though :(

That's a good combo. |

This is the second time they've been paired with Abandon All Ships
Pth and BTBAM touring together would be exceptional.
They have before. There's a reason they haven't since. I saw Protest, Glass Casket and BTBAM years ago
But it will never happen.
again ;) |
Why won't it happen again? Somebody clash?
|
seeing architects/pth in april =]

http://sputnikmusic.com/blog/?p=546
That was a great analysis, would read again.
They have before. There's a reason they haven't since. I saw Protest, Glass Casket and BTBAM years ago
Were Dustie and Blake pulling double duty or was this before they joined BTBAM? If not, that must have been a rough tour. |
It was before they joined BTBAM.
|
Wouldn't be that hard to play two sets.
|
what you mean? two different bands
|
glass casket and between the buried and me each played one set, i'm not sure why that's hard
|
Yeah.
|
What?
