Hey im hear, fresh from college woo.

Spectrum 09-16-2004 09:26 AM

Yay!

Your last post was 3,333! So awesome!

I have BBC America on for some reason, and I'm having a good time. Since it's the On Demand channel, I think I'll watch some Monty Python now.

Untitled 09-16-2004 09:30 AM

Oh yea, so i was.

BBCs a cool channel, do you have commershalls on BBC america? In the uk BBC is totaly comershall free, well apart from an ad or 2 inbetween shows advertising other shows.

Spectrum 09-16-2004 09:38 AM

So your BBC is like our PBS?

Because BBC America has advertising.

However, I still like it. Last night as I was waiting for my parents to get home from their Phil Collins concert (grr, arggh), I stayed up watching "Keeping Up Appearances". The episode where she has to take the old people to the seaside was hilarious.

Public Broadcastic System. A commercial-free channel that provides good, quality programming, such as nature shows, documentaries, children's educational shows, music specials, telethons (they've got to raise money somehow!), and British shows in the evening, such as Monty Python, KUA, Are You Bing Served?, Fawlty Towers, Antiques Roadshow, Red Dwarf, etc.

And yes, Hyacinth is hilarious. I think her neurotic neighbor and her brother Emmut are quite funny as well. And the bits with Daddy are priceless.

I'm watching an episode of "Keeping Up Appearances", which is quite funny.

Untitled 09-16-2004 11:58 AM

Morning :p ive decided i might drop geog at college, its way to **** boring, i wanna take graphics design now.

Spectrum 09-16-2004 12:06 PM

The episode was about Hyancith wanting to be invited to the costume ball, which she makes a large fuss over; Daisy is engaged to a Polish man whom no one can pronounce the name of (he is called Mr. Whatsit); Emmut is slated to have Hyacinth at his Piano Recital, which he doesn't want...

great episode.

Hmmmmm, To be honest it's 50/50 for me I love some and I hate some.

Music
Most People (Being very friendly)

Hates
Ignorance eg...How YOU won WWII all by yourself. It's really petty but gets to me when I see America lead the D-day memoral. You wern't the people that fought the war for 4 years Britian was the main fighting force and as far as i'm concerned America joined only becuase of Pearl Habour.

Thats about it at the moment I can't really think
