Sorry Shane. Will do first thing tomorrow.

A-Life-Less-Plagued 11-13-2004 08:51 PM

Does anyone here like Far From Breaking? They sound a lot like Count Me Out. I like them better than Count Me Out personally.

cbmartinez 11-13-2004 08:52 PM

Nice avatar.

"Dogs of War", "Game Over", and "Hardcore Kids" isn't a song, but its good for a laugh.

Count Me Out > Far From Breaking

NewKindofArmy03 11-13-2004 09:05 PM

I can't get anything from Far From Breaking on soulseek.

A-Life-Less-Plagued 11-13-2004 09:05 PM

The song on there is not their best. But it's a feel for what they sound like.

A better description would be a cross between Count Me Out and Champion.

NewKindofArmy03 11-13-2004 09:09 PM

As soon as I said that, songs popped up. Thanks anyway.

On another note, Behind Enemy Lines are really good. They have the singer from Aus-Rotten.

A-Life-Less-Plagued 11-13-2004 09:57 PM

Would it be correct to label Textbook Traitors under emo? Or would you have to say screamo?

shane italian 11-13-2004 09:58 PM

I dunno, I don't like the term screamo very much and I tend to put TT under power violence.

Could you just call screamo bands emo? I prefer to do this.

shane italian 11-13-2004 10:02 PM

That's what I usually do.

That's like saying "Can I just call hardcore bands punk?" There's a distinct difference between the two.

40 oz 2 freedom 11-13-2004 11:09 PM

It's not as different.

123, emo and screamo are much closer related than hardcore and punk. If you had said hardcore punk and punk, then that would have been closer.

Let's Chop Cats! 11-14-2004 01:01 AM

I got the Casey Jones split with Traitor, have yet to listen to it.
